Anyway, here's my 100% fullproof reasoning behind why we're getting Dante revealed at TGA in 2 weeks.

There's a lot of other superflous comparisons I can make, but you get the idea.

I’m not going to warn you for a different opinion. Was it kind of in bad taste? Maybe. But saying someone isn’t likely doesn’t seem grounds to warn. You’re good dude just try not to stir up trouble in the Geno thread.

All these prediction rosters for FP2 usually have the same characters. No one's being creative anymore.

I would assume this is somewhat true, but on the flip side many of us have varied scales of what they want for Smash Bros characters and aren't changing their minds on it much. People won't magically come to terms with every idea, so people have to pitch more options. That's what keeps roster speculation flowing, or at least what it should be doing. Unfortunately, I also often see these discussions railroaded into similar cycles for some reason, which leads to predictions being the same and the spread of assumptions on probability. So while variety is high, that doesn't give much of an excuse for playing favorites and making everyone believe that's the way things will work out by crushing all opposition. That's not useful for creativity.

Better than what usually happens in this thread; talking about Geno, talking about Hayabusa and thinking the latest reveal is a frontrunner.

Not saying Geno and Hayabusa aren't cool picks, but the fact that they're usually the only two that people talk about for days on end gets annoying to anyone who isn't a fan of them, especially when you're ignored (if not worse) for trying to bring a new subject.

Vincent, i politely request you play Devil May Cry 2. It is the best game. The sequel to Bayonetta is dreadful. Not only that: Dante is at his best in the game.

So far, it seems that the "most likely" characters with the most backlash are Crash and Hayabusa, with Geno getting backlash regardless. I feel like Dante could be considered part of the group in terms of perceived likelihood and discussion, but he doesn't seem to get nearly as much backlash. Strangely, Monster Hunter doesn't feel like they get as much attention, even though we consider their chances in high regard. Adol seems to be getting a lot of attention lately, but he's a recent development and he's more centralized around this site. He could become another character who's brought up a lot, but he could just as easily become the next Monster Hunter.

As one of the biggest fans of Hayabusa here I usually try to avoid bringing him up. Reason being is I don’t want people to get tired of him so I do hate that he’s become one of the main talking points. Don’t get me wrong, I am super glad he’s likely since I’ve wanted him for the better part of 10 years but yeah, it’s a bummer that he may get revealed and people are going to say “what a boring pick” just because of leaks and rumors. It really is disheartening.

I think they'll do DMC3 Dante with a DMC1 costume. Maybe coatless versions of those too. After all, that's the only game in the series with costumes.

To be fair, the point of the ride is more about the crazy set pieces, advanced animatronics and AR tech rather than actual go karting.

I just hope they expand beyond Super Mario and Donkey Kong at some point. I remember Zelda being a small part of the project plans a few years back.

I mean, it's not a crime for Mario to have the focus. I just think "Super Nintendo World" is more "Super Mario World" at the moment.

I can't imagine how many countless acres upon acres they'd have to expand Nintendo World to before they added a Xenoblade attraction.
