Pack it up y'all, the Spanish dude's source is that that Hotgirl account that has literally gotten nothing correct.

Judging by the actual content of the tweets, these seem to be seperate things.

Not that I give this leak any credence but if I did, the franchise that came to mind for me was Advance Wars. It was a long running series of games known in the West & Japan, its assist trophy was removed, and even its representation in Smash now has been reduced to a couple of spirits. As far as dark horse Nintendo IP's it would rank up there.
Ura Ura come here my comrade.

Even if he's talking about different things, the fact that this guy treats that scammer as a legit source of info tells you everything you need to know about him.

Alright I'm in the mood to talk about Koei-Tecmo a bit.

About a day ago, it was confirmed that Age of Calamity is the mystery title Koei-Tecmo will show at TGS on the 26th alongside Atelier Ryza 2, which is very interesting because this is the only Nintendo title that'll be at TGS as far as I know.

Just look at this image for the 26th:

The following day will be related to Dynasty Warriors' 20th Anniversary with 2 new titles being announced. What they are is anybody's guess, but don't expect it to be Musou games outside of Dynasty Warriors.

So now the big mystery revolves around that Ninja Gaiden Trilogy and that Hong Kong store listing. Outside of already released games like Nioh 2 and ROTK14, everything else in Koei-Tecmo's TGS lineup are either [Japan only] mobile games or Japan only games like the Switch port of Monster Rancher 1 & 2 and DoAXVV, so it really makes me wonder the validity of it being real.

So there's 2 MCs?

I feel like unless it's some weird tag-team setup, there'd only be 1.

....Or just cut the crap and give us objectively best girl Mythra. :191:
I mean, not really. Lora is a Driver, just like Rex, and Jin is a Blade, just like Pyra/Mythra.
The difference is that in Torna Golden Country you can change between the Drivers and the Blades during combat, meaning that you can actually fight with Jin or other blades. In Xenoblade 2 base game that wouldn't be possible because gameplay-wise it works differently, you're always controlling the Driver. Torna has a more dynamic battle system.

Now, I'm not very plugged into the Nintendo Twitter scene, or the Smash Twitter scene, but I do remember seeing this guy's name frequently. If not as an insider, then as a prominent figure for Nintendo fans in Spain (at least, I'm assuming he's from Spain? There's dedicated Nintendo news sites over there, can't say I'm aware of any for any other Spanish-speaking community). Now, I'm not vouching for the guy's credentials at all, but I'd say it at least warrants a looking into.

Real or fake, but especially if fake, I assume the implication is that the fighter is from Golden Sun. First party, little representation, unexpected, and it's particularly beloved in Europe. I doubt there's any relation between this and the Chibi-Robo rumblings beyond HotGirl piggybacking.
This """leak""" is false, that's pretty obvious, but about your post, it could be referencing Golden Sun. The series is fairly popular in Spain as far as I have seen on social media, which is somewhat surprising for a JRPG franchise that has been dead for years.

My newest prediction is that the next fighter will be revealed either the last week of October, the first week of November, or next year. Reasoning:
  • The rest of the month already has something lined up for each week assuming they're doing another Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase this month.
  • Since every week in September has been eventful, it's probably a safe assumption that October will be incredibly uneventful, with just a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase to its name. At the very least, I don't think any announcements until October 19th are likely.
  • The next fighter must be revealed in ample time before the Super Mario tourney that will begin near the end of November. If it were to come any time after the first week, there wouldn't be enough time for the buzz to die down at all, which is kinda necessary considering the newcomer won't be available in the tourney.
  • The end of December would be an incredibly odd time to reveal a fighter. I highly doubt they'd do it that way.

I haven't played Ryza's game, but I think she would be quite nice for Smash.

I like her design a lot! :3

I can't tell if Tiffany Treadmore is still being brought up out of desperation or memes.
Yes.

As far as the next couple of weeks there could be something roughly like this:

9/13-9/19 - Smash reveal? Mario 3D All Stars Hype
9/20-9/26 - Partner Showcase
9/27-10/4 - Age of Calamity content, Tokyo game show related news
Tbh I find it difficult for a Partner Direct to happen like that, especially so close to TGS. I feel like whatever Switch content we'll get will most likely come from there. Makes very little sense for Nintendo to pay for the recording and editing of content that will be shown somewhere else.

IMO, 3DAS -> Smash -> AoC seems more likely.

Damn, it feels like the goalpost keeps moving back and back for us.

I would say your prediction makes sense but at this point, I just can't read Nintendo anymore. They Shadowdropped both the Mario direct and the announcement of a reasonably hyped Zelda game, in 2 weeks in a row, when before there was a information drought on upcoming Nintendo games, it doesn't make any sense to me.

I like to still think we'll getting a character this month but like I said, I can't read what Nintendo are going to do.

Just saying but HotGirls got 2 things correct recently including Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit and Age of Calamity. She does know some stuff, but she's most certainly still unreliable. I wouldn't believe her on everything but occasionally a broken clock is right twice a day.
Did she get it irrefutably correct or is she doing the thing where it theoretically applies to a vague claim made, and now she's taking credit for it?

Technically, Imran was the one who leaked Calamity first, no?

Pretty sure Gamexplain were the ones to leak Home Circuit as well.

I'm going to say it, but Ryza has nice thighs.
You say that like it hasn't been said before.
sadly, thats rhe main reason and maybe the only reason why dudes like the game
To be fair, Atelier Ryza had a major graphical bump and altered the gameplay to be more inviting to newcomers. It's not all thighs.
That, and maybe the fact that Ryza's design is less explicitly "anime fantasy RPG," so maybe that allowed some players to get into the series when they might have been turned away before. Maybe. That's more speculation on my part, though.

You know, I never understood why they gave characters such tight clothing around the thighs like that. I get that it's supposed to be sexy, but the heck is sexy about cutting off the circulation to their legs?
Ironically, According to the designer, it was meant to be cute and pure, not sexy

Okay, so I looked through the full TGS 2020 lineup just to be sure. And yeah, it looks like Koei is the only one with a Nintendo game:

Tencent: They have a slot a couple hours after K-T, but they're advertising two mobile games: a Saint Seiya game and what appears to be a relatively new anime-esque IP (CODE D-Blood if anyone's familiar with that). Not Pokemon Unite, so they're most likely out.

Level-5: Ni no Kuni, Yo-Kai Watch and Megaton Musashi. Not them either.

Spike Chunsoft: Cyberpunk 2077 Night Wire (S-C are 2077's Japanese publisher). Nooope.

Square-Enix: Focusing completely on NieR. Replicant, Re[in]carnation, Automata.

And I'm ruling out most companies that focus on esports during TGS (Softbank, Fujitsu) as well as mobile (GungHo, Lilith Games). Konami's not revealed their TGS games, but I'm not counting on them either since they've focused much more on the mobile side of things post-Kojima.

So yeah, it appears to be that AoC's the only Nintendo game there.

Guess who just came to bless us with his insider info :jojo:

On semi-unrelated news, Nintendo seems to be pushing more 3D All-Star videos on Youtube. I'm willing to guess that we won't see anything on Smash next week, as all their focus will be on it.

My bets are still on the week of the 21st.
I literally said this yesterday but got shut down because people want Smash news ASAP. They ain’t gonna make any other major announcements the same week that the Mario collection is coming out
