Tbh, I'm unsure about what would be shown in a Partner Direct. Maybe something from TGS? Dunno.I think it'll be the other way around because why the hell not?
I mean, most of the voice clips from Ultimate are still the Brawl ones, so I think even Sakurai agrees on that one
I could see a Direct about stuff from Western companies who can't make it to TGS. So enjoy another WWE game :^)
Nintendo's store is giving is November 30th, but other places still give a very vague "Fall 2020".

Crown Tundra, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Shovelware for the Phone, and rumored Scepter Sea/Cinder Citadel or whatever could make for a big Pokemon Direct. I'd imagine that a direct either 1 or 2 weeks from now would be a good drop time for something likely coming out mid October (Oct 15th if past Pokemon release dates are anything to go by).

It’s hard to tell tbh. A third party would makes sense because FP7 was probably going to be at E3. Plus Nintendo really needs to breathe life into the Smash hype train & I think a third party would do that unless they have Waluigi or Isaac up their sleeve.
Jeff Kaplan said recently that he would like Tracer in Smash, so that implies she's not in.

Hmmm....I think it’s mostly the same. Nothing really pops out. Dante is currently the second most wanted character in Japan after Sora. Monster Hunter takes third, Rex is fourth, 2B is fifth, and Crash is 6th. This was done via survey back in February but, from what I’ve seen and heard, it hasn’t changed much. Sword Art Online, Atlier, Puzzle & Dragon, Granblue Fantasy, and Dragalia Lost also do much better in Japan than in the West in terms of placing. On this survey, a Sword Art Online character got like 12 which was higher than Goku, Geno, and Reimu.
A 3 month delay seems awfully large even for COVID to cause. It was probably just that development for the 2nd Fighter's Pass started later than they had planned and they really wouldn't have had much to show at E3 anyway.

The same here, especially since also being busy settling into my new place and trying to write stories, come up with Lost Tapes summaries, read, and watch shows or movies at home.
They've posted news and released games before on the 11th of September, World LEGO Star Wars 2 Day. I don't think they care
That is one of many things anyone could worry more about than Smash.

Except Partner Showcases so far have been at the end of the months in which they were presented. Not necessarily a pattern, but I still have a gut feeling it’ll be the same for the last week or so of September.
Or as some have predicted these so-called partner directs are actually a general direct/E3 split into parts. Perhaps FP7 could be presented in that partner direct supposedly next week assuming the character is 3rd party.
