"Too many Fire Starters" would probably become the new "Too many Swordsmen/Too many Fire Emblem characters" if the Gen 8 Pokemon is Cinderace which I think it will be given the anime asandshown.

Plus, are literally the only two Fire-types on the whole roster. I don't think people considered that."Too many Fire Starters" would probably become the new "Too many Swordsmen/Too many Fire Emblem characters" if the Gen 8 Pokemon is Cinderace which I think it will be given the anime asandshown.
Reggie also said that there would be no Friend Codes in the Nintendo Switch onlineReggie acknowledged the Waluigi Demand back in June and put a word to Sakurai. keep in mind that Reggie retired going into the next year,
Unpopular opinion here but if we HAVE to have a Sword and Shield Pokémon, Cinderace makes a lot of sense at least from the anime point of view. How would you all react if Cinderace is a DLC character in Fighters Pass 2?
Exactly compared to Fire Emblem which has eight characters.Plus, are literally the only two Fire-types on the whole roster. I don't think people considered that.
Here's my top ten; I'm assuming that we won't get assist trophy promotions through DLC.Right here:

I'd be okay with it! The Scorbunny line is my favorite.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually says this unironically because apparently everything this fandom dislikes is anime.Bespoke: Hating Cinderace because it's looks like a generic anime protagonist.
Yeah. I really think Resident Evil is a worthy addition for a playable character. I guess Sakurai didn't come up with a moveset, if he and Capcom ever discussed the possibility.I really wish someone asks Sakurai why they passed on RE one day. It’s such a historic game series with a lot of potential for a fun moveset.
It’s the highest selling Japanese franchise without a playable character. Only Japanese series that are higher are Mario, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Sonic & Zelda. A goal Sakurai’s stated in the past is that he wants to show the world how great Japanese games are, so it’s so weird to me that he’d pass up on adding a character to such a huge/important series.
I’ll be delusional & just hope Sakurai is a Claire/RE2 fanboy & the RE spirits were just to throw us off the scent. <_____<
If hates anime, surely they must have a point?I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually says this unironically because apparently everything this fandom dislikes is anime.
I mean, Sakurai doesn't decide which characters get in as DLC, Nintendo does.Yeah. I really think Resident Evil is a worthy addition for a playable character. I guess Sakurai didn't come up with a moveset, if he and Capcom ever discussed the possibility.
Fixed that for you. There was a problem fetching the tweetHOW?! How are they still going TODAY of all days??
Oh man... please, reveal Elma today that would be an amazing birthday gift jfkenfkenfneksmhfjekgjjrkek
ESRB could have been a problem to, considering alot of the RE monsters are not for good boys and girls (only the Hunter looks imo like something from Metroid)Yeah. I really think Resident Evil is a worthy addition for a playable character. I guess Sakurai didn't come up with a moveset, if he and Capcom ever discussed the possibility.
Fixed that for you.
And happy birthday btw
Because there are many more characters that they use the money to development, instead of going back and trying to make "some PNG"But why would they avoid a character just because they are a PNG?
If it's fun to play then I'd probably be fine. Incineroar shown that just because a Pokémon shares the same typing doesn't mean it'll play the exact same as its predecessor and it was fun to boot, and to Cinderace's credit it does bring some new things to the table as its style of fighting (soccer themed projectile fighting) is not really shared with any other fighter, so it would likely stand out. That said, I would prefer most other Gen 8 Pokemon over it as what the other Pokemon bring to the table (ex. Toxtricity and its Rock n' Roll theming) would be more interesting to me, so I wouldn't be the most excited for it.How would you all react if Cinderace is a DLC character in Fighters Pass 2?
Did mine too.Right here:

I don't really get what you are trying to say. If you mean it's because they have battles as well then I don't see why they would turn down a character based on that. I understand other characters could get in more money that's a valid point that's if I am not misinterpreting.Because there are many more characters that they use the money to development, instead of going back and trying to make "some PNG"
(Spirits are fully programmed battles, they are much more then that)
For a small portion of people
Hero was the first thing Nintendo announced at E3 (Noon est)Hey uh
just out of curiosity anyone remember what time (EST) that Hero and Banjo were revealed last E3? 12 noon?
Not at a computer atm so can’t edit but lemme list my top 10:Right here:

I mean if we are using the anime to guess the potential gen 8 mon it might still be a bit too early as i think its fairly possible for ash to catch a grookeyRegarding Cinderace and the anime, I would like to point out that neither Sobble or Grookey have made their debut in the show yet. Part of the reason why the Scorbunny line has stood out so much is because...well, it's the only one that's done anything so far. Sobble will be making its debut in a few episodes, so we'll have to keep an eye out for it and see how much screentime they give it.
I'd give the anime a little more time before chalking up Cinderace as the most likely starter.
I was half joking with this statement. I'm not gonna hate Cinderace or anything (just be disappointed), but I do unironically think it looks like a generic anime protagonist, and don't really care for the design as a result. To be honest, I find it to be Emboar, Delphox, and Meganium levels of unappealing and I don't understand why it's the most popular of the three Galar starters.I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually says this unironically because apparently everything this fandom dislikes is anime.
Man with this much hatred towards fire I wonder what would happen if a Breath of Fire character got in.. Thinking about it with the way the protagonists are,"Too many Fire Starters" would probably become the new "Too many Swordsmen/Too many Fire Emblem characters" if the Gen 8 Pokemon is Cinderace which I think it will be given the anime asandshown.

I feel like some people are exaggerating rillabooms drum kit, i mean rillaboom can carry it around on his back and he would mainly bring it out for specials, smash attacks and maybe like a few aerial attacksIf we rank the starters based on how easy they'd be to make a moveset for, I think it'd be Inteleon, then Cinderace, followed by Rillaboom.
Inteleon should be fairly easy due to how much it has to work with. It can shoot water with its fingers, it can glide with its cape, and it has a knife hidden in its tail.
Cinderace would be a little harder. It can kick projectiles, but its feet are pretty much all it's known for. If that's the Pokemon Sakurai chooses, he'll have to rely mostly on Cinderace's lower body for attacks (those stubby little arms have no reach).
Rillaboom would require a lot of work simply because it's a mostly stationary fighter. It's key weapon would be very difficult to implement in a fighter who would be jumping and running around almost non-stop. Not impossible, but also clearly more difficult than the other two who are very limber, mobile, and aren't restricted by their main method of attacking.
Amaterasu and Reimu are really cool picks. I think Paper Mario and another PS rep are most likely out of these imo. Here're my top 10, some of them aren't too realistic for various reasons lol

We got Joker, Banjo & Kazooie and Terry. Who expected them to get in? I don't mean to raise false hope but come on. Sakurai has made the implausible, plausible.Nothing too interesting and sadly I doubt any of them will get in.
iirc he didn’t claim anything about the PS5 showcase, he just said some PS5 games (saying PS5 for just one of them tho I guess others like FF are obvious) would be revealed “soon.”And it also claimed that the PS5 showcase would reveal Bloodbourne and Final Fantasy 16 when neither were revealed.
Either way, Vergeben shouldn't be tied to this. Sabi is still the only one claiming it.iirc he didn’t claim anything about the PS5 showcase, he just said some PS5 games (saying PS5 for just one of them tho I guess others like FF are obvious) would be revealed “soon.”
Though if a bunch of the stuff has already been leaked or rumored or whatever, then yeah I guess we can forget it. Funny, if P4Gold has already been going around, I see Sabi’s still trying to take credit for stuff...
