Ok, so it feels like the best pick would either be an AT upgrade or a series already repped in the game. A few options I can think ofAlright, one last game before the reveal tomorrow...
Let's say that, after this current Fighters Pass, we get an announcement that the next DLC character will be a -style "bonus" character that comes completely by itself and isn't connected to any Passes. This character also has to follow the following two rules/guidelines...
With those in mind, who would you pick for a hypothetical "bonus" character?
- The character has to have some reusable assets from Ultimate or the previous Smash games. Assist Trophies, Mii Fighter costumes, regular trophies, in-game model cameos... basically anything that can be used to help the development process go faster than just starting from scratch.
- The character will not come with a stage, music, or spirits in order to lessen the workload, so it will likely be a character from a series that already has plenty of those in Smash already.
X from Megaman X. He has a model from Mega Man's final smash and has a simmilar build to the Samuses, so that shouldn't be an issue. The lack of greater MMX content is a shame, but what we have works well enough.Alright, one last game before the reveal tomorrow...

Tbf, not many of them are in speculation right now unless I count the Sonic characters.Y-yeah... there's totally not a lot of Sega characters that would be perfect for smash...

If i had the power id make the entire pass just sega charactersMust be nice to not have many competing characters that are from the same company as your dream pick.
It's not happening, but I for one would be up for Dr. Robotnik/Eggman, whatever you want to call him, to make it in.Tbf, not many of them are in speculation right now unless I count the Sonic characters.
You're not gonna believe this, the entire presentation leaked, but every mention and appearance of FP5 is censored.Hey everyone, anything happened while I was gone?
Kiryu, Alicia, Sakura, Yu and Blaze. If i had the power id make the entire pass just sega characters
I especially liked the part where [REDACTED] instantly KO’d Mario. You're not gonna believe this, the entire presentation leaked, but every mention and appearance of FP5 is censored.
It mostly consists of Sakurai teleporting around and dabbing.
I was going to say "Charizard with rock smash," but then I noticed you want my actual pick.Alright, one last game before the reveal tomorrow...

RIP Rock Smash. Maybe Mega Charizard gets inI was going to say "Charizard with rock smash," but then I noticed you want my actual pick.
Hmm... I guess it'd be Dixie Kong. It feels like her moveset wouldn't be far off from Diddy's, and she had a trophy (though it would certainly need some polishing). It's really weird not having Dixie at this point.
Wailord used Splash.Hey everyone, anything happened while I was gone?
What's a "Mega" Charizard? Did you mean Gigantamax?RIP Rock Smash. Maybe Mega Charizard gets in
God yes. Almost all the music in the series can be downloaded from the eShop for free and used as a customizable soundtrack for Ryza, so hopefully the stage could get dozens of tracks as effortlessly as Terry's did.Earlier this week, the Dusk Trilogy was rereleased for Switch, PS4, and Steam. Wouldn't it be wild if Ryza was also announced for FP5 on the same week?
Also this battle theme from Shallie ****ing slaps:
It was dynamax'd Wailord though so it squashed everyone in Japan. Sakurai died and can no longer tell us who DLC 5 isWailord used Splash.
Man I wanna play Atelier Ryza but for some reason the physical release on the Switch was limited as hell.God yes. Almost all the music in the series can be downloaded from the eShop for free and used as a customizable soundtrack for Ryza, so hopefully the stage could get dozens of tracks as effortlessly as Terry's did.
Weiird wording considering most of the assist trophies would require less time to be made from scractsh than using their animations and models.Alright, one last game before the reveal tomorrow...

I'd honestly love it if it was a unique Echo of Charizard only. Seeing as how each of the three Pokemon still get numbers, it would be doable. More or less, giving it Rock Smash as well as keeping the rest of the moves. Of course, a different Final Smash too. Not sure on the best way to do the attributes.RIP Rock Smash. Maybe Mega Charizard gets in
It all makes sense...You're not gonna believe this, the entire presentation leaked, but every mention and appearance of FP5 is censored.

But the most important thing though... Did Skitty fall in love with him?Wailord used Splash.
A personal pick of mine would be Tails because if we're thinking of expanding Sega even more with suggestions such as Arle (Nothing against Arle though on my part though). I feel a Sonic & Tails Vs. Mario & Luigi being possible like in the old EGM April Fools issue would be awesome. I'd take Tails anyway to do him whether it's fully semi-cloned ala Isabelle or Lucas. But if they must, I'd even take an Echo where only the recovery is made different (Perhaps Pit's old Brawl Up special) since Sonic's A moves borrow heavily from Sonic the Fighters. And in Sonic the Fighters, Tails was kind of the Ken of that game.Alright, one last game before the reveal tomorrow...

no, but the new unrevealed pre evo baby skitty did...It all makes sense...
Shadow is the 5th fighter.

Alucard, Black Knight and Waluigi would be my top picks here.Alright, one last game before the reveal tomorrow...

It’s a thing that‘s going to be in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX, but, since that’s a Pokemon spin-off and not main series, that means that Smash is going to ignore it.What's a "Mega" Charizard? Did you mean Gigantamax?

people seriously still think geno is some popular character and not a footnote (if that). third party inclusions in smash are giants. at least so far all have been.Don't think Geno needs to be an E3 reveal, he's huge within the Smash fanbase (who'll be watching all presentations anyways), but not so much outside of it. E3 is for the ones who'll make the biggest splash among the wider gaming audience.
Bayonetta and Solo be like:people seriously still think geno is some popular character and not a footnote (if that). third party inclusions in smash are giants. at least so far all have been.
so?You know these posts are a few weeks old, right?
yeah but the girl pokemon trainer is soo cute! it's the one thing keeping me from wanting them to be split.Easy fix for Pokemon trainer:
Red & Charizard
Green & Ivysaur
Blue & Squirtle
you know that sega is still doing great games post dreamcast right?SEGA Pass? I’d be SO in!
1) Vectorman
2) Joe Musashi
3) Blaze Fielding
4) Ristar
5) Sakura / Alis / Arle (can’t choose)
As for a Sonic character I’d love Metal Sonic. He’d be both a Sonic villain (Eggman could appear in his final smash to power him up or ambush the victim with one of his mechs) and another speedy character. Not to mention another robot.
I've had people argument to me that Geno deserves to be the Square over both Hero and Cloud.people seriously still think geno is some popular character and not a footnote (if that). third party inclusions in smash are giants. at least so far all have been.
Well that's what you get for hacking normal status moves onto your Dynamax Pokémon. It was dynamax'd Wailord though so it squashed everyone in Japan. Sakurai died and can no longer tell us who DLC 5 is
Kazuma Kiryu is at least one of Sega's most beloved characters these days, him being absent from a Sega theme pass would be so strange.you know that sega is still doing great games post dreamcast right?
Still, a sega pass withouth Kiryu is.... questionable at best.
