Y'know, this wouldn't actually shock me that much. I doubt it's legitimacy of course, but the concept sounds actually plausible.

Kasumi wouldn't really make sense as an echo. She uses a sword, not a knife, as well as a completely different Persona, and is no more important than any other PT. I think people are still too hung up on the "Jane" datamining thing.

Sorry dude but that logic doesn't work out. Doom has never crossed over with Elder Scrolls in any way, shape, or form. Cacodemons are purely native to Doom. The Miis having nothing to do with FP5 means Doomguy is out, but it doesn't mean Dragonborn is also out. You can't just discount all of Bethesda because of this and the fact that neither Verge or Sabi said Bethesda is out means they're still in the running.

I said I retired because of, well, this. As Rummy and even Sabi through ForsakenM noted in the Geno thread, it was a mutual agreement. Our approaches to things didn't mesh well. I like to be here on a daily basis, take droves of questions, openly speculate, and am totally okay with being wrong on things. Sabi is the opposite on all those points. Sabi was tired of getting questions about things I speculate and being told I was "leaking" because of my speculation on rumors. It was a pain for both parties on a regular basis because Sabi didn't want to do things like I do and I didn't want to do things like he does. The original plan was for it to only be for a month or two until everything slowed down as well. Again, it was one of those "it's for the best" sort of things. Also as I noted in the Geno thread, leaker/insider culture is kind of hot garbage there was a lot of unethical stuff surrounding past events that I've become more and more privy to that influenced my decision to not fight the decision and make it permanent instead of temporary.

Pretty much the entirety of my list of potential dlc characters has been deconfirmed for FP5
I............have no idea anymore
Either all this deconfirmation is bull**** or we're legit getting another darkhorse pick from Mr Masahiro Sakurai himself....

Is Capcom deconfirmed and if so how? I've seen some people discuss it. If they have been deconfirmed then I think it's probably ArcSys, Sora or a Sony rep.

So went on YouTube and saw in my recommendations a video from PapaGenos saying Phoenix is confirmed?

Guess another one bites the dust then? Speculation takes an even bigger turn now.

Reliable source that's not Verge and Sabi says Capcom's out. It's an NoA source with Nazyrus, someone from Sabi's circle, who got Banjo, Terry, and Link's Awakening hd. Capcom's out as far as I care.

Despite what the NoA Ambassador source says, Verge has not deconfirmed Capcom and Sabi has been careful not to definitively say it isn't Capcom.

I mean, it seems pretty cut and dry to me and now I'm leaning either Sora or a double dip like 2B, Kiryu, or Arle, but it makes you think.
