I've now finished the second case in Phoenix Wright, and this game is INSANE. Never before have I played a game that gave me this much suspense, laughter and satisfaction all in one package. My mouth was even hurting for a while because how much this game makes me smile!

I'm pleased to say that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney may end up being my favorite game of all time. It's that good.

You are going to love Case 4. It has the best witness EVER!

And coming from a Phoenix Wright supporter, he still has some competition that hasn’t been deconfirmed. No offense, but this mentality of expecting the same circle of characters leads this community to get blindsided over and over again (Again, I REALLY want Wright, just saying that there are still some candidates left)

Horizon Zero Dawn coming to PC was mentioned in this leak, and now it's being corroborated by some gaming news outlets. This leak also says KOS-MOS is fighter five contradicting what Vergeben has said. The Remind detail is interesting, but it never had a date beyond "This Winter" so claiming a delay into January 2020 is a bit strange when that was the expected release window to begin with.

Here is why some people think Nightmare could still be FP5: Fatmanonice said Heihachi and Lloyd were guests in Soul Calibur at certain points so it would make a lot of sense if their Mii costumes came back with him. He also said Soul Calibur is the 2nd biggest crossover franchise in gaming only next to Smash.

I mean it would make Nintendo a lot of money. Not to say he said it was going to be all highly fan requested characters, but he said that E3 and beyond would be almost nothing but 3rd party characters.

Nintendo will make money no matter the characters. While for sure we will get some fan favorites, Nintendo knows that hardcore Smash followers like us will buy the DLC no matter who they include. That being said I find more logical for them trying to appeal other people who maybe doesn't play Smash or doesn't have a Switch.

For the record, I want characters like Dixie or Isaac, but these characters won't bring new fans, to put it in some way, because the supporters of these characters already own the game. Bringing other franchises that aren't much overlapped with the Smash/Nintendo public surely will bring attract more people.

I think a few first party characters could happen but if I have to bet between "100% third party" or "100% first party" for post-pass DLC, I for sure will pick the first option.

Of course there's a chance that Verge or Sabi are wrong and some of the characters or companies they have deconfirmed is actually FP5. But if we look at the track record of Verge, that doesn't sound like the safe bet. I'm saying this while some of my favorites are deconfirmed by them, so I'm not biased or anything.

I can't believe I never thought of this as a recovery possibility for Phoenix other than a stepladder. Phoenix has so much potential for a wacky and creative moveset, it's frankly unfair to everyone else.

I'm playing through the first game and just as I thought, Phoenix would have a really interesting moveset overall.

I feel their use of fanservice picks is kinda silly, given that we have gotten pretty much fanservice picks since the Inklings all the way to Terry. Fighter 5 is going to be fanservice and beyond are going to be fanservice as well, every character has their fans.

Plus for what reason would Verge lie in regards of Bamco? He doesn't have anything to lose.

The entire game is fanservice in general, from everyone coming back to already-present franchises getting more content (Mega Man and Street Fighter got a ton of new content) to the new series in Smash getting love. Examples of fanservice regarding new characters include Castlevania getting a plethora of content, tons of Persona 5 references regarding Joker, getting four Dragon Quest heroes, and Terry's entire pack in general. Whoever is next and beyond will have tons of fanservice no matter what. Not everything has to revolve around the long-requested picks, and in the end Smash is bringing in new audiences with new fighters. Verge is credible when it comes to Smash, yet there are people who don't believe in his statement that Bandai-Namco is out of the running as Fighter #5.

Is this another one of those weird "Ryu Hayabusa is the last NES icon" claims that's going to be repeated for no reason? Soulcalibur has guest characters. Tekken also has guest characters. King of Fighters All Star has guest characters. I'd say that Granblue ****ing Fantasy has more actual crossovers if you count number of series' than Soulcalibur. And hell, even in fighters, King of Fighters itself is a bigger crossover than Soulcalibur. Or, y'know, the Capcom Versus series? Marvel vs. Capcom anyone? Cmon son.
