I don't think anybody here actually made that complaint. I just thought it was funny to use the "recognizable" argument for Corrin's Smash inclusion.

Because, Fatman what else could it be, why else would they all of a sudden bring up Nightmare in a Geno thread. I don't understand why they're all of a sudden pushing the Nightmare, even though the company he's from got deconfirmed.

Even though I do think some of his speculation is interesting, some if not most is just flat out assumptions at best. I know he was one of our outside looking in from the leaker circle, but I still wouldn't take what he says completely seriously. I mean, the guys has gotten some of his own speculation wrong before. :rolleyes:

It's funny how these entire 2 pages of Corrin posting happened because one guy wondered why he was specifically the straw that broke the camel's back, some other guy calmly and rationally explained why this was the case, and then everyone started dogpiling him.

That brings me back to the Smash 4 days when Falkoopa was a mod here. His internet lagged so badly he became known as the legendary penta-poster.

I mean, there's also the likes of Sir Arthur, Amaterasu, and Morrigan

there's still plenty more when it comes to Capcom that isn't RE, DMC, MH (I feel like Rathalos kinda deconfirms anything related to Monster Hunter), or AA

they probably have the 2nd best collection of video game IPs right behind Nintendo

From what i've seen, Fatman's main mantra is how the post pass DLCs are gonna be pretty much all fanservice pick and that's because most of them are gonna be characters that can benefit from reusing assets from Mii costumes and whatnot, and often draws parallel to the Mewtwo/Lucas/Roy Sm4sh DLC, saying stuff like "Oh those character were fanservice and were also decided after Mewtwo just like the post-pass DLC were decided after the first intended DLC for Ultimate. They're totally gonna focus on the core fanbase and reuse a lot of assets to promote some characters"

...yeah i wonder how that will turn out. This is basically him just saying "Geno is in guys I swear". But then again, the real problem is people taking what he says as gospel.

The point I was trying to make before... whatever that was happened, was that I believe that all three of those videos are likely new, because that was proven in this thread when the first two appeared

The real question is what those videos are. But at least there is probably no doubt about a VGA reveal now, and the fact that there could be MULTIPLE characters is really exciting for me.

12/12 cant come soon enough.

Oh, there will definitely be fan service picks... but Geno... Geno isn't even a main character.

If Verge is right, I hope it's Phoenix because

1) kick ass music
2) I enjoy the original Ace Attorney trilogy and it's nice to see games you like in Smash
3) I'd be curious how Sakurai implements Phoenix in Smash
4) frees up the Capcom representation for Dante in future DLC

The only thing is I don't know how the stage is not boring. But I thought Mementos would be boring!
