I don't know. A human that gets a legendary weapon, is related to a well-known person and eventually fights an unnatural powerful entity sounds awfully generic.

No matter from which standpoint you look at it - as in, whether you like the game or not - Xenoblade 2 really shouldn't come to mind when you talk about games that got robbed, when you consider what other games are in the series.

none of the xenoblade games are actually that good especially in comparison to the -saga games and the only reason i stan X is because it's the only one that even evoked the same feelings I got from the -saga series and Elma is super good and the soundtrack banged and that's the tea sis

I'd throw in Marth and Chrom, too, honestly. Shadow Dragon's writing did wonders for Marth and Chrom goes through like three different character arcs over the course of Awakening's story. They kinda get unfairly painted as generic by a lot of people.
Any ARMS rep would have been awesome. I really hope they don't give up on the series. It was a really cool idea and I had loads of fun with it during those big few months after release.

Well considering the reasoning for XC2 not getting a fighter makes perfect sense (time constraints), I wouldn't argue it got robbed either. XCX however had no such constraints so robbed very much applies there, Elma not making it in while some plant does makes little sense to me. Though time constraints can't be really used as an excuse post-pass for XC2 anymore so who knows..
People have to actively avoid Chrom's supports to call him generic.
I really hope ARMS gets more stuff in the future. The team looked very happy with what they were doing and the game had some good potential. Plus getting those songs in Smash would be cool, even if I'm more partial to characters other than Spring Man.
I totally forgot about Elma. I thought she had the best chance to be Smash DLC during Smash 4 and it never happened! It would be nice to see both XB2 and XBX both get someone from the next pass of characters especially if its a mix of first and third! The reason I said it earlier is because it seemed like a series that Nintendo was pushing hard, so the fact that it didn't get much content in Ultimate still kind of surprises me.
Why wait until the end of the Fighter Pass? I say bring on FP5 as a first-party character.

Which is what I was saying earlier. Switch can handle the games. They just won't be the definitive versions. At the very least, people can play them on the Switch if they so choose. So you previously saying 'Switch can't handle KOF' is blatantly false.
Said ports were initially considered "impossible" due to the games already being a handful for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Post this opinion on twitter and Golden Deer stans will jump you in droves, I promise you that.
Then I guess that The Legend of Zelda is average at best
