They just say Holiday 2011. People are saying it could be Nintendo's sleeper hit for the holidays. Which I hope so, it is a fun take on a classic concept. Plus it has Wi-Fi, so it is still accessible and fun for everyone. Even if nobody is a fan of Mario or Dragon Quest I'd still recommend it to anyone wanting a fun game with a little bit of depth to it.

Plus it will have tons of music from both series. Just look at some of the tracks from the DS installment.

Last note on the exclusivity here.

We need to remember (one of the major reasons Lucario, Radiance Ike, Lucas, and puff are in my exclusivity category) is that though the 3DS might have the memory capacity to support a plethora of content, the most important sect of a game is control.

The Wii U version may be able to explore more depth in how it plays and feels, this including input additions and of course the competitive analysis.

From what I envision/predict, the development teams working on a handheld will have a more difficult transition of build than the console version. It is more likely that they will be using the previous titles as a template in accommodating for a new platform.

This means that the 3DS game will have a familiar feel to previous smash games, whereas the console version will have more freedom to (ultimately) redefine standards of the game's design, similar to 64's transition to Melee. Such, older models aka previously mastered character structures are likely to be familiar on the 3DS (ala puff). The more immerse Wii U design (ala X)

Just theory crafting here, but maybe that series was Nazo no Murasame Jō. I'm thinking this because the NES music is there, maybe because it was the only one they kept over and there is no remix. Also, Sakurai has mentioned adding this character as far back as Melee. He did it with Pit, so he may have taken the same initiative with this series. All just guess work of course.

Takumaru and Golden Sun? This makes perfect sense. I'd like to able to pin those as shoe ins once and for all.

I actually wanted Black Mage for a Square Enix rep I think Slime might make it in over him though he's still one of my most wanted characters probably below Zoroark and Saki though. I might make a moveset for him since I don't think I've seen one anywhere yet.

For any other Dragon Quest fans. Monday in Japan (Sunday night in the West) SquareEnix will be live streaming a Dragon Quest event where they are going to announce the next Dragon Quest game. The interesting thing is the way they are saying makes it sound as though they are not referring to Dragon Quest X, but another title?! So there may actually be another new game in the works.

Also, Dragon Quest X's website is now beginning to activate. When you go to the website it has text that reads "and the door was firmly closed". Here is what I'm anticipating:

-Fortune Street release date.
-Slime Mori Mori 3 (Rocket Slime 2) information.
-Dragon Quest X reveal trailer.
-Secret Dragon Quest game. My guess, Dragon Quest VII remake for the Nintendo 3DS.

Well, I like the good ol' bate theme from I, it's definetly iconic, I also love the JENOVA theme, it has that feel to it that makes me enjoy playing a game more.

What really? You've given them a chance tho right, because they have a huge fanbase for a reason. Don't worry I'm not gonna flame you with a long rant, I've only played a select few but they're really fun to play. At least it's not hype like twilight

As for Sonic, I'd like to see a good remix of Green Hill Zone. I like how the main themes from Sonic Adventure/Heroes were in it, but it was a little distracting to listen to (my nostalgia), so instrumental versions I think would be a nice fit.

Anyone suggest a mix of all the Chocobo themes yet? It sounds challenging but it'd be something I think worth hearing

But if they did NOT cut it out then Brawl would have serious disk reading errors and gamers would complain and want their money back, making them redo the whole thing again. If they did not cut them, they would have had to make a completely new different wii, wifi that wont crash your system. Brawl already is over 7 GB, no need for more.

There are some serious gaps in the music selection, they probably tried to figure out why that did that.

So yea, two whole series of music cut from Brawl. The "V" section missing looks most likely to be SSB64. The "O" I think may have been for a new series to be introduced to Brawl, possibly one of the AT's or maybe just an exclusive series for a stage like Animal Crossing since it's listed above it. In any case, that missing series may show up in SSB4 which probably why music is still being talked about (other than the fact that there's not much to talk about in the first place)

What really? You've given them a chance tho right, because they have a huge fanbase for a reason. Don't worry I'm not gonna flame you with a long rant, I've only played a select few but they're really fun to play. At least it's not hype like twilight

Anyway, I know the FF series is good, but overall I'm not the biggest fan of RPG's, plus the fanboys still creep me out a bit.
