The first DLC for FE13 will be released on May 31st. So its going to be a while before we get any details about it.

I want Mega Man in the Fire Emblem 13 DLC.

Shoot me! :reverse: :samus: :troll:

Edit: The reason I say that is I want anything that gets Mega Man more closely related to Smash Bros so we can basically confirm him get hyped, and move on from there!

That means he's about 4 foot 4 inches tall. That's pretty short, even for a kid! I thought he was about 5 feet tall or a bit under that, but whatever. :ohwell:  :smirk:

By the way Oasis, do you got a source=??? If you don't, you need to be Stronger! :p

Well he is meant to be a 10-year old and what not. I don't have a source, just that it comes from a Japanese source book. Was hoping the Mega Man Wiki would point me to it BUT IT DID NOT. It does list that height though too.

I always thought he was 12 (that just sounds better; too soon for full on puberty, but just old enough to have a grasp on the world and how it truly works), but whatever.

As long as he's totally awesome as usual, it's all good. Of course, that is assuming he is strong!

Lolol, geez, apparently even Saki's name is feminine. It's a Japanese girl's name that means "BLOSSOM." Poor guy. Just what were they trying to prove. Oh well, it makes me like him even more.

At least Saki isn't as feminine as Marth. :troll:

By the way, if Krom is as feminine as Marth, he might not be that popular amongst non-Fire Emblem fans! :awesome:
I don't see how anyone can interpret Krom as being feminine. Masked Marth on the other otherhand is tracking to be one of the most androgynous characters in the entire series.

Also I'm fairly sure Saki edges out Marth in femininity.

EDIT: Pretty sure Celice is a girl's name too, lol.

I said Masked Marth was tracking to be ONE of the most androgynous characters in the Fire Emblem series. Its really between Masked Marth, Celice, and Lucius.

The funny thing about Celice's androgyny is that fans actually asked Kaga (the creator of the Fire Emblem series and director for the first five games to the series) whether Celice's gender was originally planned to be determined by the player due to Celice's androgynous appearance. Kaga's response was a simple no.

On a sidenote about Celice, Tyrfing (Celice and Sigurd's holy weapon) looks almost exactly like Marth's Falchion.

my interest in kid icarus is rising up pretty quickly.

i made a joke about link once, that since they're probably going with his skyward sword look they might need a new final smash. he'd be halfway through the triforce slash, then run out of stamina.

HYAH HAH HUP HHYAAH RAAGH HY-uuff, whoof, hold on a sec... huh... okay HYAH HAH etc etc

on a serious note, i think it's fine the way it is.

The presence of vehicles in KIU has me thinking: what if SSB4 had vehicles as an item subcategory? A vehicle spawns on the field & the 1st player to get in it gets to tear **** up until its destroyed. This could add a new layer to the gameplay much like final smashes did.

1. Go Kart (Mario Kart series)

Drops banana peels on the ground. Despawns when it runs out.

2. Arwing (Star fox series)

Hovers above the field & shoots lasers. Kind of an airborne landmaster.

3. Beetle (Kid Icarus Uprising)

A ground vehicle used for melee combat.

4. Blue Falcon (F-Zero series)

Can run over players but has a risk of running over the edge. Oh & Cap gets a super-duber falcon punch for a new FS.

5. Artillery (Advance Wars series)

Lobs bombs from a distance.

6. UFO (Earthbound)

Uses a tractor beam to lift opposing players & carry them around.

7. Ballista (Fire Emblem series)

A giant bow like weapon that specializes to attacking aerial targets.

8. ZERO-ONE (Poke'mon Snap)

Possessing no forms of attack & moves on it own, its main feature is being a protective shell, giving the rider a breather until it despawns after a period of time.

9. Hunter class (Metroid series)

Remaining immobile, a player enters it to have his health slowly restored to 0%. Other players can attempt to destroy it while healing or wait to board it themselves.

10. Loftwing (Legend of Zelda the Skyward Sword)

Filling the role of an aerial melee vehicle.

11. Kaboola (Kirby Dream Land)

With its cannon pointed downward, it serves as a bomber.

12. Ride Armor (Mega Man X)

Assuming of course Mega Man makes it in the game the ride armor is a slow moving but highly durable melee machine

13. Egg Mobile (Sonic the Hedgehog series)

The "clefairy" of the vehicles. When it shows up it assumes a random weapon configuration that each functions differently. In true Sakurai fashion this includes a "dud" form that's near useless to the rider.

It would be problematic, to say the least. At least with Kid Icarus, the action is in 3D, so you get a lot of room to maneuver. Not so in Smash, not to mention that many items in the games already fill the role of the vehicles in compact shapes.

However, I wouldn't mind seeing them in a 3D Smash game akin to KIU's multiplayer.

I think vehicles could work. It depends on how they are done and how they are balanced (don't want someone who hops into one to KO everyone else with ease). Also, the number would have to be limited (no more than 3).

A mech walker that was kind of slow would be fun. Maybe have an Excitebike that you can boost with.

I have a feeling that a 3D Smash would play a lot like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry.

I could see a 3D Super Smash Bros working like a hybrid between this and Kid Icarus: Uprising. Seriously.

After seeing the multiplayer gameplay for Kid Icarus Uprising, my first thought was how awesome a 3D Smash could be. However, I think that instead of replacing Smash, it would have to be its own series.

I would rather be smacked in the face than play a Smash game with sidestepping

:phone:
You do realize you could have the 3DS and Wii U have seperate gameplay, right? At least that is what I assumed everyone's understanding is.

Well you never know. Ike looked pretty manly, but the ending of Radiant Dawn makes me question his... well... you know.
It would be hilarious if Ridley was a boss :troll:
In Uprising you could beat Ridley up, think you won until Ridley shows up again, beat him again, celebrate, watch him reappar, and repeat half a dozen times!

Yeah, and there wouldn't be too many types of vehicles. I would guess no more than 3, but up to 5 I think is possible. Maybe a Mario Kart, Excite Biker's Bike (as part of his moveset if he is playable), Mach Rider's Bike (as part of his moveset if he is playable), an animal from Donkey Kong Country. A mech from Mega Man or Sonic isn't unlikely, and a riding in a Metal Gear (REX, RAY, GEKKO, etc) would just be all out AWESOME!!!

And a 3D Smash would be an awful idea. That would be about as logical as this.

I was under the impression that everyone thinks the versions will have different focuses regarding the series' established gameplay rather than the two versions having seperate gameplay altogether

Screw that, we should get a racing minigame in Smash Bros.!

Smash Kart would be awesome and you know it.

As well as my Special Slot idea.

What I really want in the next Smash Bros. is customization. Not just aesthetically, but customization for stats and movesets.

I'd rather they kept the same core 2D gameplay.

That's part of what makes it actual Smash. It's a 2D fighting game with 3D elements.

I think both games will have different physics, gameplay, and maybe even slight differences with the same character from game to game. An example would be like if Fox's up tilt was somewhat of a kill move with a lot of knock back in the Wii U Smash Bros. game. In the 3DS Smash Bros. game Fox's up tilt would have great stun and be a juggling move.

We call it Miis! :troll: Customizable stats and movesets too much. The Smash Bros development team already needs to make hundreds of frame per character, and balance them. If you want all that, hack the game once it comes out!

Edit: If you guys are gonna post big pictures, can you please use the Collapse tag=??? ;)
