Perhaps slightly isn't the word I wanted to use. I'd say make her about as fast as Falco. As for the Morph Ball, that's a brilliant idea. Sort of like in 2D Metroids, where you press down and can then roll around in Morph Ball mode, then just press B for bombs. It should be fast, too. Only a bit slower than walking speed, I think.
I think we can all agree that there are many characters, especially the old ones, that need serious reworks.

Out of the original 12, only Fox and maybe Luigi are the only ones whose Special moves fit them and synergyze with each other pretty well. The others have too many useless special moves and even normal moves.

FE13 might just become the best Fire Emblem ever? Can't think of nobody who saw THAT coming... :awesome:
Seeing as it may be pulling a Gold and Silver on us by bringing together two FE continents that very well may be.

I also just looked and it comfirms that the Divine Dragon God: Naga (appears mainly in Marth's games in the backstory) will make an appearance. The resemblance to Marth's games is weird...

In the world of Awakening, there is a legend about the Divine Dragon Naga, who protects mankind, and the Evil Dragon Gimle, who wishes for mankind's destruction. The story begins in the Holy Kingdom of Iris, a nation ruled by the descendants of the Holy King who vanquish the Evil Dragon with the Divine Dragon's strength.
BTW it's also been confirmed that Krom has an older sister as well. lol

Why should Geno be considered when we have several more notable Mario characters left? Toad before Geno. Bowser Jr. before Geno. Paper Mario before Geno. Even Waluigi before Geno.
I am not debating on whether or not Geno should be considered. What I am saying is that you can't just compare Geno to other Mario characters. They don't need special permission to use Toad or Bowser Jr. With Geno they do because he is owned by another company. So if Geno is considered it will be against other 3rd party characters, not against Mario characters.

In which case, Geno has too much competition, even within the company he's owned by.

Square-Enix has a plenthora of characters to use, especially from their bigger series, Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.

If treated as a Mario character, Geno is towards the end.

Yes. Pretty much. Although in Brawl, Pikachu clearly disagrees with having no useful special moves. All his special moves are used. And I to wish there where less useless novelity moves. Often, these moves are included in the ground play. Thus: improve ground play.

I could deal with the Neutral Special being changed. Perhaps Electro Ball. Also, I'd like to see Quick Attack undergo a couple of cosmetic changes.

Geno is and always will be towards the end, even more so because he is not owned by Nintendo. Which is why people need to stop comparing him to Mario characters. Any Mario character, even Wart, has a better chance than Geno because they don't have the same legal loops to go through.

I always wanted Quick Attack to be offensive. So make it happen, and maybe make it 3 jumps instead of 2, and make Pikachu lighter to compensate. As for how Quick Attack would work... think Fox's Side B, but slightly slower in excecution, but your able to attack 3 times with it. Maybe not exactly, but I'd like to do Neutral Airs as Pikachu while pressing A doing this attack, similary to how Diddy can press B to do a sex kick on his Side B instead of face ****.

I want neutral B to be Thunder Bolt actually. Basically be a chargeable upgrade of the current Thunder Jolt. If charged up, Pikachu will unleash a bolt of lightning travelling about 1.5 x as fast and far as uncharged, but it's one beam instead, and doesn't travel around the stage as the Jolt does. Side B can also be something different than Skull Bash if it where up to me.

But if it where up to me... about half of the cast would get different specials. Easily.

I have been thinking about this simple fix for Jiggz.

-Sing can now put enemies in the air to sleep, but for a set and short time. If it hits and opponent, they go to sleep for a short time but, instead of finishing her song and letting her opponent wake up, Jiggz gets mad and can move immediately after getting someone with sing. If she misses, she keeps singing.

-Remove rollout as it serves no purpose to her aerial gameplay. Too predictable, as a recovery it is worse than simply jumping on-stage and can be dodged easily.

-Pound is perfect for her aerial game, so it stays. Just make it slightly faster and give it lots of stun so she can combo with it.

-Make an aesthetic rework to rest, turn into into a rest-snore combo. She sleeps for a while, but the damaging wave becomes visible.

-Replace her neutral special with Echoed Voice. When she uses it, she leaves a sound wave in the air, which deals minimal damage and knock-back but persists for some time. Pretty much there to increase her wall-of-pain strategy. Like a weaker Bumper.

Speaking of stun, I want more stun on certain combo starting moves, say, Diddy's dash attack.

I like your ideas for Jiggz btw. Just don't think her Roll Out should change myself honestly.

What would people think about Chibi Robo as a fighter? Surprising I know, but if he had a moveset akin to something like roll in TvC what would you all think?

I don't know how to reply, as I don't know Roll, don't know what TvC stands for, and I only could regonize who Chibi Robo is, not what he could do.

But all I can say is: we already have a R.O.B.ot. And I don't know what Chibi Robo could do.

In Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom Roll's moveset was based around a maid motif. She used a broom to attack and one off her supers was her using a bucket of water to create a tsunami. I was thinking Chibi Robo could do the same just trade the broomstick for a toothbrush. He could also incorporate other items into his moveset.

I don't think having two robots that are nothing alike is any worse than having two Links that play practically the same.

I am hoping we get 4 Links in the next game.

TP Link.
Retro Link.
Toon Link.
And the Hero of Time.

Does that make me a bad person?

Speaking of Jigglypuff, maybe some special move adjustments should be considered...

standard - Pound: Pound returns to being Jigglypuff's standard move. It has the same properties as before.

side - Gyro Ball: Jigglypuff builds metallic energy into its body, and then fires forward. If it hits anyone, it'll bounce back and send the target flying. Additionally, hitting the opponent will enable Jigglypuff to attack again. If it doesn't hit anyone, however, it'll enter a helpless state, making it work similar to Captain Falcon's Falcon Dive. This move is not affected by gravity, making it the successor to Rollout.

up - Sing / Hyper Voice: Jigglypuff will create a melody, which will put opponents to sleep if they're too close. However, if you hold down the special button until Jigglypuff flashes, Sing will become Hyper Voice, which will damage foes instead of putting them to sleep.

down - Rest: Rest can no longer be used for offensive purposes. Instead, Jigglypuff will fall asleep, and if it wakes up without flinching, it'll recover half of its damage. If it flinches while sleeping, however, the damage recovery is negated. The duration of Rest takes around 8 seconds, and it's best used after making a Star KO.

Chibi Robo is actually one of the new series reps I want the most (then again, I tend to want the quirky ones like him and Tom Nook). I think he'd make a greatly fun character, plus he represents some awesome games.

As for Jiggs, I reeeeeally like the idea of a Rest/Snore combo. It should also restore about 10% damage, since, y'know, that's what it does in the games. It's already high-risk, but the reward was super-nerfed from Melee to Brawl. Make Rest super vulnerable at the beginning, but make it so that if you pull it off uninterrupted, you get guarded by Snore and you also get some damage recovered. I would like to see Pound replaced with Echoed Voice as a Side Special. How about Echoed voice sends out a shockwave that starts out small, then gets bigger as you use the move more (this is how the move works in Pokemon, after all). Then, when it's at its maximum power (about 4 uses, 5-6% on 1st use and 20-25% on last use), it becomes Hyper Voice?

Another thing that needs to go is her FS. Make it like a combination of Peach's and a transformation:

Perish Song (not literally used as in Pokemon, but a clever reference): Jigglypuff begins to sing beautifully, causing everyone to fall asleep (like with Peach, the closer you are, the longer you sleep). She realizes this and becomes furious, pulling out her marker. She gains a good bit of speed and power (and invincibility, of course), and you rush around the stage, punishing players for falling asleep (the Side Special would be a max charge for the entire transformation; using Rollout would be superpowerful, but dangerous like riding the Bike as Wario Man; Rest/Snore would heal 20-25% and have longer range; and Sing would put foes back to sleep for a lesser period, with greater range).

Puff Up was dumb.

EDIT: Oh my. Look at all the Jiggs movesets.

I think Chibi-Robo , would be the perfect addition. I mean, all the equipment he uses make for a perfect moveset. (Chibi-Copter, anyone?) :]

Plus I think this would be the best size for him, in comparison to Mario:

Small and Speedy :)

OH and hey guys, I'm somewhat new here :p

Posting this here because I don't know where else to put it.

I am making a game. A Fire Emblem-like game with lots of different units. It has 18 races and I already have a clear idea on how each one of them plays. Except two.

One of those races is the one with the best offense, being very good at staying on your face, and, while lacking in ranged attacks, they have means to which keep the opponent near them.

The other is meant to be more free-form. As in, they do lots of in-battle fighting and maneuvering and can get out and in of fights quickly.

That's the plan at least, but the second race doesn't have much else to them, compared to the first. If it's any help, the first are Orc-like giants and the second is full of were-beasts.

So.....any ideas on how to flesh out the second ones?

What's the game Chibi Robo about anyway?
You're basically a little sentient appliance who helps strengthen a family by maintaining their home. What made it so appealing to me was how you could explore a household like it was a huge world. You also have to make sure your battery stays charged, so you have to plug into various outlets to keep going.

And at night the toys in the house come to life, and there's a Giga-Robo in the basement that you try to slowly repair by going back in time with a time machine aliens bring you to find its missing leg and the mother of the house asks for a divorce and there's lots of crazy fun times.

Also you solved the issues of toys and animals, because they talk to you. It's a really spontaneous and fun game. Plus he has enemies (The Spydors, Queen Spydor) and shoots them with his Blaster. :)

Sounds pretty fun actually. But is it a bit of a running series like Pikmin is? I'd like to play it actually...
