Although I don't really support him, he actually has some things going for him:

• He's not a sword user (nor does he have blue hair lol).
• Has been in more FE games than Marth.
• Is a villain/anti-hero.
• Has a somewhat good fan base.
• Is quite relevant due to FE11 and 12.

Thoughts? (also he's to Marth as Ike is to BK)

At least Zero Suit Samus appealed normal people because she's one of us... a member of our own species. The same will be true for Palutena. Can you say the same for Krystal? Normal people don't have sexual feelings for a fox nor do they want to have sex with a fox. Normal people don't get aroused by the idea of bestiality or zoophilia.

When Palutena and Medusa become more well known, they will leave every other female Nintendo character in the dust in terms of suppot because they are both attractive HUMAN females. If a scantily clad animal from subpar games was able to get a cult-following, can you imagine what attactive HUMANS who have a major role in a major game will have?

Show Krystal hate, okay not really, I just don't get why people want her so bad, I can tell you they are bound to be dissapointed, her chances were in Brawl, they seem miniscule compared to what they used to be.

Still Ganondorf does need a little revising, and this does open many more options for him which is good.

Skyward Sword is going to be released in about a month, so hopefully we will finally know how important Ghirahim actually is in Skyward Sword. Currently, I think he is the Zelda series's best hope at getting a fifth slot. However, it really hinges upon:
1. How well Skyward Sword is received (and how popular it becomes/sales).
2. What Ghirahim's importance in the game is.
3. How Ghirahim is received as a character.
