Totally agree, ive always thought that every franchise should at least have an antagonist as well, too many protagonist, balance Smash a bit, like Masked Man instead of Lucas for example.

From what I have observed, Roy and Mewtwo are the two most wanted returnee by a long shot. Pichu was hated in Melee, Dr. Mario was a full-blown clone, and Young Link was replacement material when Toon Link arrived on the scene.

Toon Link replaced Y.Link due to no sequals of he himself no returning. After Majoras Mask, Toon Link took the stage. (Minish Cap, Four Swords, etc.). When I did the voting, all people were from Allisbrawl, Serebii, and Facebook. I had a total of 300 voters. Here's the ratings:
Mewtwo: 104
Y.Link: 93
Roy: 90
Dr. Mario: 11
Pichu: 2
All played Melee and Brawl. Took me a couple of weeks to get it set, but when I got the results, I saw a certain pattern. Can you see it? Note that this is after the event of Mewtwo. Note that I'm just pointing out what I've found. Dunno wat game ur talking bout.

Agreed. Although the only series that doesn't seem to follow that would be FE, unless of course we got BK or Camus.

Also, my rule of thumb about adding a female character is this: Are they notable? If not, don't add it for the sake of gender. Add it for the sake of the character herself.

Mr. Game and Watch and the Ice Climbers were unique characters that offered something new, therefore, they would not have been removed from Smash.
ROB was very important to Nintendo's history, stopping the near-end of Nintendo during the Video Game Crash.
Olimar is getting a third game, so his relevance is boosted considerably.

I'm glad Kantrip approves of my favorite villain, The Black Knight, sadly his chances aren't that great due to Chrome being announced recently for FE13, Black Shadow and King Wart are two others I want as well but they're chances don't look so good.

ANYWAYS SSBSurvival is going to NOT be a tournament. If I ever do a tournament again I'll do it in the backroom and hopefully I'll get some real support behind me. Basically SSBSurvival is going to be like the show survivor. I'm going to give you a roster of newcomers, and everyday you will

A. Vote for three people to be put up on the chopping block.
B. Decide who leaves between the two chopping block characters with the least amount of votes. Debates are WELCOMED. I LOVE THEM. DEBATE DEBATE DEBATE.

Basically, this is how you would go. Tomorrow, you look at the roster, say HMM "I want Waluigi, Krystal, and Tingle on the chopping block" Then the next day, the characters that got the most votes will be up for execution. The one with the MOST votes is immediatly eliminated. The second two, will have people volunteer and take a side on who should stay, and then state their cases. The cases should say why your character should stay, and why the other is a poor choice to keep. Then me and a few judges will decide which side wins based on their arguments.

So basically your posts will look like this:

Umm, I vote for Krystal, Waluigi, and Starman to be put on the block.

And then, regaurding the debates between Pichu and Dixie, I think Pichu's case was represented better. Keep him, boot Dixie.

So, you will essentially be voting on who will be debated tomorrow, and weigh in on who is going to be booted from yesterdays chopping block.

If you don't like something/this idea, I COULD GO WITH A TOURNAMENT. I like those just as much as survivals. Tournaments have more debate, heck they're fueled by debate.
