Actually, yes. Why aren't Samus and ZSS separated already, again?
Oh yeah, so they can have wasted Final Smashes.

Haha, I think that's the only reason why Sakurai even put them together, ZZS's FS was a waste, it's a simple transformation with knockback which I found useless.Actually, yes. Why aren't Samus and ZSS separated already, again?

.......>.>.........Wasn't that little tidbit the genesis of "SAKURAI DEMANDS MORE WOMEN."
"Twofer?" I guess. Although Samus, who we had before, is same character. Just with clothes.Sakurai has stated that his reason for even placing in Zero Suit Samus was:
I put Zero Suit Samus in thinking I wanted to include more characters from the popular Metroid series. Also, since Smash Bros. has few female characters, I was quite happy to include her.
So she was basically a "twofer".
I think its in the DOJO!!"Twofer?" Meh, I guess. Although Samus who we had before, is same character.
Still this does give me hopes about both Palutena and Medusa getting in.
Also, can you give a link?
Well I just looked and I didn't see it?I think its in the DOJO!!

He needs to look into that matter for the next one. I expect at least 2 new female characters. Maybe 3, but that's probably pushing it.Also, since Smash Bros. has few female characters, I was quite happy to include her.
Thanks, Star. Someone on here asked me to put one up, so...Also, Swayne, cute avatar.
Well it makes sense, at least it was better than having her own slot, but then again people would have raged if it sid happen comsidering the fact that Ridley wasn't playable at all.Sakurai has stated that his reason for even placing in Zero Suit Samus was:

Thing is that Sheik was based off of unused artwork from Twilight Princess. I doubt that is the case here. UNLESS\As for the separate Sheik / Zelda thing, I wanted to hear my brother's reaction to this idea, and he basically changed my mind on it. Twilight Princess didn't have a Sheik, neither does Skyward Sword? Sheik may look a tad different.... but....so?
Thank you. This is going in the backroom. I'll give you credit, so don't worry.http://wii.ign.com/articles/710/710752p1.html
What is interesting is how he mentions how Pit was popular in both Japan AND America (which infers that he gets some memos as to what the Western Smash fanbase wants).
Also, yeah, I have a hunch that if Kid Icarus Uprising is a massive hit, that we will be getting both Palutena and Medusa.
Plusle Minun thing I think is wrong. Some of the thinking is that it's just the random box.I would venture to say that ALL of the cut Melee veterans are recognizable. Super Smash Bros. Melee was the highest selling game on the GameCube. Before Sakurai said, 'there will be cuts", there was animosity to the idea of cuts (even for Pichu, Dr. Mario, and Young Link).
Keep in mind that Sakurai at an earlier point in Brawl's development was considering bringing back Dr. Mario over any other Mario newcomer. He also had Toong Link and Plusle & Minun in mind as the replacements to Young Link and Pichu. Mewtwo and Roy were by far the most popular ones of the cut veterans which is why they stayed in development much longer than the other Fallen Five.
Yeah, have to agree there. I'm hoping it was Tetra or someone all along. No need for TOON Sheik.Toon Sheik is single handedly the worst idea Sakurai has ever had. Seriously...
Omega, do you know how to read social situations?
Things don't need to be canon. Besides, Sakurai could have a Sheik drawn up within days if he wanted.Thing is that Sheik was based off of unused artwork from Twilight Princess. I doubt that is the case here. UNLESSthe character at the end of a recent Skyward Sword trailer really is a member of the Sheikah. In this case she could be modeled around the Sheikah's appearance in Skyward Sword.
I dunno. Dixie wasn't named, "Lady Diddy" so... you never know. Sheik and Tetra are NOT the same.Yeah, have to agree there. I'm hoping it was Tetra or someone all along. No need for TOON Sheik.
Yeah, I was thinking that too, and that definitly applies to Magnus.Warrant is a subjective term. Could they? Perhaps. It really depends upon how biased Sakurai and Project Sora are coming off of development of Kid Icarus: Uprising. The rumbly in my tumbly tells me that if Sakurai was hesitant to oversaturate the Melee roster, which really wouldn't have, with Kirby characters than I somehow believe he is not going to do that with Kid Icarus either. Sure, we will likely have one of the two, but that probably will be it.
Good point.Still on the subject of Zelda. Forget characters, am I the only one more fascinated by how Sakurai is going to handle the artstyle discrepancy within the series?
No way. I definintely have been wondering about that since the begining of the summer. So much Zelda....SO MUCH. The thing is, half the characters that show up in OOT don't show up in SS. What do you do?Still on the subject of Zelda, forget characters, am I the only one more fascinated by how Sakurai is going to handle the artstyle discrepancy within the series?
I think Ganondorf will revert to his Ocarina of Time looks. As for Zelda, she will get her Skyward Swords look and Sheik will likely receive the same treatment.Still on the subject of Zelda. Forget characters, am I the only one more fascinated by how Sakurai is going to handle the artstyle discrepancy within the series? You have Ganondorf and Sheik on one side with Ocarina of Time 3DS, and Link and Zelda on the other with Skyward Sword. Even if Toon Link returns he is voided from this discussion as his style would stay the same.
You pretty much got it all in one shot. The notable thing is that they can help eachother using.... Helping Hand. That's about it. They're a novelty Pokemon.@SmashChu
I could see Plusle & Minun as a playable tag-team. The Ice Climbers were a success in Melee; I'm surprised Sakurai didn't expand that play-style in Brawl.
Just one problem for me. I know nothing about that Pokemon duo. All I know is they're the gen 3 answer to Pikachu.
For Link, Zelda, and even Ganondorf, I prefer they keep their Twilight Princess designs. Those are, by far, the best I've seen.Problem is with Zelda is it would be more drastic of a blend than what we saw happen with the Star Fox crew in Brawl. They were in a similar situation, having both their Assault and Command designs. Just blending the two artstyles, possibly three with a returning Toon Link, might make all of the characters appear out of place at that point. Having the characters have split designs might be just as awkward. Hmmm...
