So I just talked to my RA about the tournament. We're going to have to take the entry fee off the flier if we're going to hold it, because of UNMs policy on gambling. We technically can't hold a tourney with gambling, so i'm going to give out gift cards as prizes. HOWEVER, I will be willing to BUY your gift card off of you if you win for however much it is worth (ex, the 60, 30, 10 percent split) after the tournament.
Basically, we just need to take the entry fee off the flier.

Is it possible that you can hold the tourney at the SUB instead then? Most people are going to get confused trying to find the alvorado dorms not to mention the doors are always kept shut and locked.

Tekkie, that flier is sexy. However, looking at it with the simulated confusion of a random scrub, I would add "in each game" to that last line about the prizes. Also, I would put $ signs on either side of the aforementioned line, just to give the flier some visual shorthand for "CASH PRIZE" without actually stating "CASH PRIZE".

I was lurkin around and saw that u guys are havin a tourny on the 8th. I was thinkin maybe I could go, cause I was gonna go to tp5 but that doesn't seem like its gonna happen, but then I saw this.

I'm glad to hear that. I probably won't hold a fest for a while . . . nor while I attend anything until May 8, TBH. As most of you may know, Super Street Fighter 4 is already upon us
It has come to my attention that I DO have this apartment to myself for the entire weekend. This fest will be over the course of 2 days (Friday/Saturday)
