I was just doing bad, but he has gotten alot better. He is like one of the few people, that give me trouble for some reason.

Hmm. Well, if you put your mind to it, I'm sure you will win, but I doubt it. Haha. I'm persistent. Right now I'm practicing my Marth matchups... that means you, Erich and Paul. Prepare to get combo'd hard.

I think your idea of having two people from each crew on the panel works Davis. We all need to get together and discuss at the monthly this weekend and discuss. We'll discuss what method we will be making the power rankings on.

Hey Davis can you let me know what methods exist for creating a power rankings list. The only one I know of is if all the panel members create their own list of the top ten. We then would take everyone's list and total points. EX first place gets ten points, second place gets nine points, third place gets eight points, etc. Naturally, the player with the most points would be first on the list and then so on and so forth. Any ties would be discussed amongst the panel members.

Also, we need to decide if the power ranking list will be top ten or top fifteen.

Hmm, I've never even heard of that way, Paul, but yeah, top ten fo' sho'.

I think we can do it in one of three ways:

1. The way you mentioned it
2. Simply have the panelists collective create a list through discussion and persent it to the public to see what everyone else thinks, or, my choice
3. Assign points for the Round Robin tournament and NVGA tournament and create a list based on those results using a certain point system.

What point system do you suggest? Keep in mind that not everyone can show up to every tournament. Therefore, for example, if the one of the best players were to not attend about three tournaments in a row then they would be behind on points.

I'd be willing for a ten dollar money match, at most, Kash. Prime 3's coming out in two weeks, and that needs to be owned by me the first day it comes out.

Round Robin works really well for smaller scenes.

Also, AAP is your #1? When did this happen? =O!

Colorado might want to come to another tournament soon, when's the next decently sized one?

That's too bad for them, then. Would someone feel bad and say sorry and pat Ken's back if he missed a few major tournaments and fell behind in the rankings. No. Tournaments are how skill level is determined. If you can't show up, that sucks, but there is panelists for a reason. Anyone can assign numbers and make a list, but that doesn't mean we have to go strictly by points. For example, say I had more points than Erich. I think we can agree Erich is a better player than me, so if it was just a few points, we could decide as a group to put him higher on the list than me, but I mean, if I was like way ahead in points then oh well.

Hell yeah. Amen to that.

Interim, these rankings are extremely old. They are in need of a major update.

BTW, I don't know when the next decently sized tournament is....we'll have to wait and see. Also, good job ****** Utah in that crew battle at oc3. Everyone go to youtube and search for Utah vs. Colorado crew battle. I laughed at how badly Utah got *****.

Lulz, Utah gave so many johns:

"Only got 3 hours of sleep"
"Zomg, just woke up"
"Not warmed up"

When, in reality, we did this crew battle IMMEDIATELY after 10 hours of driving, and few of us had much sleep. LoVo had maybe 3-4 hours of sleep, AND he had only woken up a little prior to this. Not to mention we couldn't very well warm up while driving, haha. LoVo's a beast.

EDIT: More precisely, 'Jira johned. We love UT, but dayum.

Anonymous. Yea!!

Interim, I think the next one's on the 28th of August, but I just heard a rumor, so I need to check some stuff, but once I figure it out, I'll post it again. And yea, these rankings in this thread are old by more than a year. See you guys later. I have yet to watch this ****** crew battle between you and Utah.

Eh... Sinz and Erich might be able to take one or two of us down, but aside from that, it would be the same story. UT is better overall, but NM's top players gave us more trouble than UT's did. But there's also the fact that CO's top 8 went to OC3 and now Colorado's MUCH better than it was when we went to NM to consider.

It ~might~ be slightly better, it ~might~ be slightly worse, I dunno. You guys are kinda close skill-wise, but UT has a few players that stand out (RA, Laozy, FtS, and PC, though I don't know for sure how good PC and FtS are now, since I didn't get to play them). I'd like to see Laozy vs Erich, myself. It'd be a fun match.

That's kind of what I meant, I think NM would do better, but only by a little bit. If you want to know how Erich and Sinz would fare against UT then ask them. They did go to UT over the summer and played the smashers there. I don't know how they did though.

Me vs. Laozy huh? Hmm, we'll oblige that next time we see UT. Last time they came to NM they got utterly butt-*****, but hey, they just might have improved. BTW, that was a slight exaggeration, but only slight.

Only Sinz went to the tournament, and he got 2nd or third, but that was last summer, not this summer. I think it was second, because he only lost to PC, but like I said that was a whole freakin' year ago. Which is why I have little confidence in UT anymore.

Regardless of whether we'd lose or not, it would still be fun to do a crew battle, ja? Of course, NM's separated into two very different crews. In Team Nub we have me, Sinz and Alphabravo. Practically everyone else is in BNTD, and I mean EVERYONE. Except for ABP, who used to be with team nub, but now he's not part of either. I'm sure he'd do the crew battle though.

I would tend to agree with my fellow NM'ers though, I myself have little confidence in UT's skill anymore, but like you said, UT has more good players players than NM does. I see your point. Hmmm, this is indeed a predicament. Still, let's do the crew battle, just to see how it goes.
