I had terrible self-esteem for most of my life. I guess it just carries over.

According to my psych book (and infinite amounts of prior knowledge), self-esteem begets itself.

I'm not the kind of person who can stand being arrogant very much, especially because of my brother's overinflated ego and how it pisses me off.
