Thanks guys! =)

Congrats on getting 3rd in your PR man, how's the scene out in Australia?
The Australian scene is pretty isolated imo. We don't really get enough exposure to the US scene first hand. Although a handful of the better Australian players attended Genesis, went from "meh", to pretty ****, came back and pretty much the rest of us learned from their trip just as much by playing them, and we've gotten a loooot better in this one year. I think that's how the story goes at least.

ATM, our tops players shouldn't beat your top players, but they could be up there. M2K, Havok, and a couple others are flying down for a national tourney of ours in October. I'll make sure I beat him. ;)

Cool, we should play online sometime ^_^
Ahahahaha..... T___T

I would but the play can be pretty terrible from America to Australia.

@Meteor: What is the best region (smash-wise) in Australia?

The best region in Australia? Well, the two current best players statistics-wise reside in Melbourne and Perth, but the best area in terms of average player skill is definitely NSW.

Hey, Meteor Master!!!

Now that I see you've been coming back, I've got some good things for you to get into your game, although it may be a bit difficult for some parts:

as always, Needs Moar PSImag. Can't get enough PSImag. The only case in which I DON'T say that is marth, MK, ike, and some other people who have insane range and are quick. snake doesn't count. you can get something awesome on him.

second thing: dtilt is too pro! If you can work it in right, it is insane with it's potential. 2 hits and an immediate followup is my deduction as best for an unsuspecting victim, but you also have to be adjusting to those who are capable of getting around you. People who know you are going to use few dtilts on will just wait for you to stop and try to get in an attack (idiocy), so you dtilt flurry instead. dtilt once for those who expect the second and put up their shield, then you can get a grab or aerial, depending on who you're fighting. It can do so much, but you have to know everything and be able to react INSANELY well. Like, don't mess up at all. If you do, you miss your opportunity to punish. People will think it is unsafe, but in thinking it is unsafe, opponents are only making it more safe for those of us who can manipulate.

Last... upon re-examination, I have found PKjump to be an insanely good technique. While I don't use b-stick, I have found a way to work it in (L as jump, then go nuts). It is VERY difficult, but I have fast fingers and can do crazy stuff. I practiced it on my brother, but upon trying to do that move solely, I screwed up a lot and ended up killing myself. MAKE THIS TECHNIQUE SECOND NATURE!!! IT IS INSANELY GOOD AT SAFE APPROACHES AND FAKE APPROACHES!

My only problem is that I need to get to more tourneys or practice some more... but I don't have time. I've got school coming up and I procrastinated a ton. I'm only taking a break now, seeing as I'm wanting to fall asleep rather than read till tomorrow or begin writing at really late.

Well, ness mains, I bid you *zzzzzzzzz*

once I get finished with this stuff, I'll look into playing ness more... After filling out college applications.

**** I've got a lot on my plate!

That's cool man, best of luck to you guys. But yeah, the best way to compete is to keep practicing with people better than you. You guys should try to make it out to the next Apex or MLG or something, although I'd imagine airfare from Australia to the US to be absolutely and awfully expensive, yeah?

Would not be a bad idea, this past one was essentially the Olympics of Smash, I can only imagine how much larger the turnout will be for the next one. Not just larger, but broader as well.

I feel like an *** since I live like 2 hours away from where it was held but still didn't go. >_>

So....
It's been a long time since I posted here.
But in the next Saturday I'm going to a doubles tournament.
My partner will use DDD or Wario.
Any protips for a Ness-DDD/Wario double?

Waddle Doos will help you live longer. Which means you can stock tank. Too bad you can't control when they appear though. :<

I've heard of Lucas staying behind D3 and pressuring with PK Freeze/Thunder, so I wonder how that works with Ness...

D3 bthrow > release PSI Magnet wind... You should be able to get some sort of jab/tilt lock off of that, but it might take some time, I dunno.

Good luck :D

When you team with DDD, Waddle Doos aren't really useful except in 2v1s.

Teaming with Wario... well generally I play off of the Wario and sort of serve as a distracter/punisher/interupter/stock tank. I play kinda campy as Ness so this might only really serve me. However, I feel that unless you play with a healer, you have to play sort of campy in teams with Ness.

I'm kind of spoiled though since the Wario I team with occasionally is Blue Rogue. (lol watch the name search)

Waddle doos are always useful! Even in a 1v1 against ddd.

Use psimag lag cancel for absorbing from waddledoo. Psimag wind can put nearly every character who isn't cg'd by ddd to the ground, which should set up a jablock.

Waddle Doos heal 44% max. The only move more amazing at healing is double IC blizzard healing 61% max. Or flamethrower/firebreath which heals roughly 30% a second.

Yink should play online with me at some point now if she is back, in fact more people should. I went through all of the trouble to replace my broken wii and I'm also going through the trouble of unlocking everything in brawl again, I should have some fun you know =(

Still haven't found my wallet yet though.

**** Ness Online.
**** he's so annoying to play as I'm sorry I just can't do it because he's so repetitive and simple. You HAVE to play a certain way w/ him online or you just won't win and even that gets ***** out so, No.

For me @ least.

I don't mind Ness online when the lag isn't bad, but that can be said for everyone.

All things I do well offline.
My friends know I'm a good Ness main I don't see the point in reppin that anymore online, it's just stupid. Ness is and always will be my main. But I refuse to play him online seriously lol. I've been through like every ladder season w/ him and I find his gameplay online annoying.
