FACTS: Mother 3 IS TAKING PRECEDENCE, "Up Until Now" doesn't help Ness if you consider different factors, He was SUPPOSED TO BE REPLACED, but couldn't due to a delay. Now Sakurai actaully has the chance to put the replacement in to the reality that he couldn't do years ago. These are all facts that YOU and DB can't get into your heads. Not opinions. Although I don't agree with some of this, you do bring up a good point that can be used alternatively, for it is the people who believe Ness is out that are the ones who care so much.. all they needed to believe he was out was for Sakurai's translator to say "up until now", they could have gone on to other threads and what not... but nope

They decide to troll, and flame any thread/post that supports Ness' inclusion in brawl, now theres nothing wrong with starting a debate about Ness' inclusion.. but it becomes rather immature when you have to insult someone just because they don't see things the way you do.

I try not to respond to the trolls after they start insulting because its just sad to watch, and participate in it. We believe Ness still has a chance, They believe hes already out... Well go ahead and believe what you wish (I really don't mind), but don't whine, and complain to people that hes out over and over again.

oh, and for what I don't agree with.. you say that Lucas' moves would have been Ness' I think your jumping to conclusions with that.. because on the Dojo Sakurai clearly states that Lucas' moves are different from Ness'. This means that Sakurai wanted to give Lucas his own identity and make him not just Ness with a different look, this could also mean Ness' moveset is reserved for him.

But thats just my speculation and Im not jumping to any conclusions.

No, no... The FACT is that Sakurai said the words "Up until now." The FACT that YOU make it is the fact that Ness is deconfirmed. The FACT is that Lucas was SUPPOSED the replace Ness. The FACT that YOU make it is the fact that Lucas is replacing Ness. The FACT is that Mother 3 is out now, and Lucas is the representative of Mother 3. The FACT that YOU make it is that there is no way for SSBB to have two representative fore Earthbound, and that Ness if definately out. "up until now deconfirms NEss11!1" - up until now has been used for other updates and does not directly deconfirm him, it depends on how you see it, imo it doesn't deconfirm him ( I don't jump to conclusions)

"Lucas moveset deconfirms Ness" - once again they are not the exact same moves, even Sakurai took his time out to show and explain the differences, I mean Sakurai why bring it up right? hes deconfirmed -.-, its debateable and to me the Lucas moveset makes Ness' chances higher.

"Sakurai wanted to replace Ness with lucas in melee" - That was 6 years ago, Brawl will have a larger roster, Lucas is already in which means if Sakurai decides to keep him he could since what he original intended is already in.

"Ness is out cause Sakurai is only focusing on Mother 3" - Yeah he is focusing on Mother 3, and if he wanted he could include some stuff from mother 2.. "Past stages: Onett", Ness could become unlockable.

"Lucas is superior to Ness" - Really? hopefully Ness will be in brawl and then we will really see whose superior.

2- Oh yes.. there A moves which make up more than 50% of a moveset is completely different but having similar specials (which work differently except for PK thunder) make them have the same complete moveset.. but with tweaks... lol, thats your opinion.

Let me teach you the difference between the words "similar" and "congruent" that my math teacher taught me :D Similar means they are "alike," they are in no way identical, they are just "alike." Congruent/Exactly the same as you described yourself. Now look at Sakurai's statement in the Lucas update, this is a THOROUGH statement.

That was 6 years ago. Did yo uwant to buy the same shirt you did 6 years ago? No, thoughts and opinions change, and that means your so-called facts do too. Even if it was for the reason that Lucas's game wasn't out, he could still change his opinion. Now that SSBB has a smashing (lol *shot*) amount of characters, which I'm assuming since the game is not out (which also would be the only prove that could tell us Ness is out otherwise), he could give the happy inclusion of both characters. There are many possibilities, be we do not know.
