I use Z to Nair because I think its faster than A since you don't have to remove your finger from the jump button. In the beginning you'll grab now and then but with practice I do it consistently now. JC grabbing is also very easy to learn if you already naired with Z. Imo.

You can also do only the first hit and combo into gentlemen lol.

I use it to do anything out of shield. Especially U-air hits in front of you if you do it really quick. I can't hit it when I use the C-stick, but with Z it is a lot easier.

Its actually pretty useful to run in and just press shield, then full jump or shorthop u-air back.

People tend to only CC if they know you are going to approach with a stupid attack like nair.

Don't approach, bait attacks, nair / uair if they miss an aerial, grab if they do something stupid like fsmash nothing. Once you get them in a tech chase, if you think you cant grab they'll either spot dodge or CC or if they are good they'll roll/utilt/shine. Just space a dair or knee to **** the CC / spot dodge up.

Dont do it too much though *****es learn to stop spot dodging and CCing and matches get 100x harder.

i use nair like a hundred times a match

just hit low with it and space, the only characters who can punish a nair by CCing it really are like marth, peach, and samus, everybody else just gets CC grabs because you try to nair grab and they grab first, they cant reach you if youre spacing the nair though

nair is the only thing that makes the spacies matchups possible for me. Without it I can never get anything started. Are there any other ways to get stuff started on them, because if they figure out the only way I can hurt them is nair... well, they've got higher priority aerials.

I used to not use nair because I only played cpus and approached with stomp. lvl 1 Cpus got me in some darn bad habits. That and playing on autopilot.

i don't think it's particularly hard. Although i'm not tight with any doc mains. he has much less range, (look at the uairs) and he's slower. nair can get you through pills that you don't dodge by running under or jumping over. what about the matchup is giving you trouble?

Mana, I eat falcon for breakfest, even hax hates fighting me. I dont think I can judge how good you are in comparison to Jona cause like, I have NO idea just how good Jona is. Like I jv4 him all the time, and then at his last tourney he beats Hazz and Mogwai and its like "where the **** did that come from".

PC Jona is legit and people **** on him cause he's a troll, but in reality everyone loves him cause he makes the boards interesting. Smashboards was really gay when he wasn't around.
