well i'm not claiming to be an expert on rap music or anything. but even though most of the rap i've heard is rather bad IMO, i'm not going to say it's all garbage because that would belittle the efforts of the rappers who produce good rap.

I'm on the fence with rap, sometimes i feel that i like rap. But the area which i listen to is more commonly referred to as hip-hop than it is rap. It has to take a real special case to make me like something rap (see:Micthemicrophone :B)

I may have been taken out of context. The range of rap I spoke of was only directed towards rap done in pony fan original music, not rap in general. I respect rap as a whole, but it hurts when bronies try and just can't keep up the flow, pitch, and sense of lyrics. That's why my respect goes out to Pogo, IBringDaLULz, and Mic. I haven't checked out colt45's stuff, I just based my favorites from all the music posts submitted to EqD. I haven't seen any from Pogosama in a long time.

Rap sucks. The only rap I enjoy listening to are the EPRBOE and every song in a Knuckles stage in SA2, and that's only because those songs are funny, not because they're rap songs.

Rap isn't necessarily my type of music but there is some good rap/hip hop out there. Common, The Roots Blu(& Exile) and Jurassic 5 are fantastic acts. There are some interesting indie/underground acts out there are well.

Yes, that's right. There is quite the difference between hip-hop and rap. Personally, I'm on the side of hip-hop, since rap refers more to the stuff you'd hear on America's Top 40 countdown.

As it stands, I'm not really a fan of pony rap, but I've never listened to any (besides the Twilight Sparkle one that Gates mentioned a page or two ago).
