Also try and work on your defensive game a bit there were times when the MK was hitting you and you just looked lost for a second

uair, usmash, and I think utilt all outrange MK's dair... basically when he's above you, that's pretty much the best situation you can be in.

The only reason anybody ever says Europe is bad is because they often showcase good players vs bad/inexperienced players that exaggerate their talent. Threads like this one are why Europe gets ****. People who post so biased and ignorantly like Staco does set you guys back.

I never wanted to compare american vs. europe, since comparing players from videos is mostly bull****. Americans did it at melee and actually failed.
I just wanted to show you vids of one of europes best brawl players (and best Marth player in eu).

But the MK? Kaos I don't know if this is your first time playing a Marth, but you have no defense, no traps, no mix ups, NO READS, horrible air dodge habits and like no edge guards. You may as well not even be playing in some of the matches. MK's gay defense is why Marth doesn't win the match up in general and you don't have any, jesus.

It's so sad. I couldn't/can't afford to travel like ~200 miles for a tournament. *sigh*

Honestly, if going to America was a cheap/easy thing to do you would have Europeans crawling all over you guys.

But it isn't, the only way most European brawlers are going to attend to American tournaments it would be because they went there for vacation. If I were to go to Genesis for example, I would probably have spent 800-1200 euros.

Way too expensive to do even once a year if you don't have a proper income. Still, you can expect people to show up eventually.

Traveling to the US sounds like fun but it's expensive ... some of us already travel a lot because EU doesn't have too many tourneys so we spend our money whenever we can. Also you shouldn't judge EU based on genesis crews lol. There were 2 Brawl players there and one of them was rebaz who plays falcon ...
Armada also got 17th (tied with atomsk, co18, dsf and mizehaze) even though he isn't the EU's best player (Kaos, Luigi Player, Istudy as well as some others are better imo).

Kaos isn't as bad an MK as you might think. He basically learned the match-up while playing it ... he still won the set in the end ... it just took some time for him to adapt to Mr R's tricky playstyle but he still won in the end. EU vs us debates are unnecesary ... before we play each other with equal representation we'll never know, that's all there is to say about it.
