@ #HBC | FrozeηFlame I like that list other than FML. Putting FML in the would lynch tier is odd to me and is what made me think of the above. What do you make of Gorf's connection case of Scary to Jerkus? I felt the same thing yesterday when explained why Scary is scum and proceeded by saying that his read on him is null. Also why is Mac not scum with Scary?

I havent put much thought into Gorf's connection case but I can tell you that I dont think mac is scum just due to his disposition toward the scary wagon. I feel like mac was one o fthe few people who could have marshalled the authority to push my lynch yesterday. He didn't though and decided to go with Scary instead. I doubt he would've dropped an opportunity to lynch me easily like that to bus his partner, especially when the swap was so last minute.

I can easily see him going with the wagon that had the most momentum as indy though, so I really only give him not-aligned-with-scary cred

Speculation is fun though. What if Frozen becomes voteless after making someone hated. That would be a perfect way to balance out that role.

yeah that would be great role design but if I really was hatemaker with the vote loss drawback I would be going all in for FML. Why would I target someone with an ability like that and not make them a top lynch choice? why would I have him as lowest priority on my lynch list? I strongly prefer rajam or kuz's slot to FML. Honestly I'm just as willing to off gorf as I am FML. I probably should have just put them in their own Null/scumlean but willing to lynch if no one likes my top choices tier

Why is Nabe null and Kuz/Vult lynchable?

Nabe keeps going back and forth for me. Sometimes his **** is on point and other times I dont follow him. He's probably the toughest slot for me to read in the game right now that is actually active. Kuz's slot can go cuz of inactivity/replacement and because what little there is of Kuz's play is generally lame and gross

These two players are who needs to be talked about toDay IMO. A bus here seems unlikely, but if there is one Gorf is the best candidate, who left his vote sitting in the sun all Day (contrast Jerkus who didn't). This isn't me espousing a Gorf bus theory -- I don't think there's a bus at all. I agree with the sentiment shared by Zen in D1 that scum probably wasn't on the wagon, and maybe one not on either of the wagons of the Day.

Gorf letting his vote sit and not really being much of a presence even as the day went on also is red-flaggy for me. Hence why I mentioned earlier in this post that I probably shoudl have put him in null/scumlean tier instead.

i was the one who started the push on you and tried to rally the people to switch to your lynch. As indy, why would I bother to do that instead of just immediately jump on the scary wagon? maybe i predicted that we'd have this conversation

Basic notes from where I stopped in early game:

-J/Circus having no early presence is something to be a bit expected with them even if it's frustrating to expect meta but J won't do **** without traction/reason and Jerkus tends to be a slow starter too. Willing to give them a pass on it for about 15 pages but seeing them put a vote places is a bit refreshing even if their reasoning is weak. Didn't care for Zen trying to make them post in colors, hydras are hydras and the reads are influenced by another person, it's not legit the same. Citing a game that happened two years ago means jack and **** because a player can easily change their mind in that period of time. Jury's a bit out still, looking at them heavily.

-Zen's obvtown thus far. This is Zen playing with his cards mostly on the table and his moves are fairly readable and don't seem questionable.

-Werekill and Giraffes are idiots but that means they're town, not scum. Both seriously have reading comprehension issues and look too far into the **** not worth looking far into and not enough at the **** worth looking into

-I don't like Gheb. Shocker. Real talk, I don't trust people who only have townreads early and he's thrown the brakes on some early wagons for...reasons. Even if he thinks the players are townie it doesn't necessarily mean they have to stop to see if scum stupidly hop on one or the other. Play is fairly static right now.

-Bardull's entrance was a bit odd and I'm surprised it didn't get more scrutiny. A lot of people homed into Werekill for reasons I don't really know when Bardull's post was ****ing awkward.

That's about everyone who made a mark. There was FML but I barely remember much of anything about them. Same with Macman though Macman's putting way more work in this game than the last I played with him.

Like, I really don't get why someone would scumread an active Ruy/Ran hydra whatsoever. Even if they're wrong as hell, it's because they're dumb and look too hard at stupid ****, not because they're scum; yet, at the current point I'm at, people are legitimately trying to do it.

As I continue to read, people are questioning it. Honestly it's not that far-fetched of a reaction. They know he's capable of playing incredibly obvtown even if he doesn't always do it, so they're seeing a difference between potential and reality. It's not exactly beyond question, so that wagon wasn't bad.

Jerkus seriously still playing with his cards close to his chest about certain ****. Either they're bluffing on a lot of **** and getting called on it or they're hiding something, both of which don't sit well with me. I can mildly understand the Bardull point but not the Mac/Giraffes connection when it can be really critical to their push. The fact that they pulled back and credited it to feels is just weak and feels more like an excuse than anything legitimate.
