We're not lynching Gheb when he's contributing this much unless he does something damning. If he's scum, he'll slip at some point and we'll get him then. He's being a little too "srs bsns," but he hasn't done anything scummy yet and I don't want the game to turn into "well, these 6 people are scummy because they never talk" toward the end.
I'd be down for a Scumfever wagon if he were here to respond to it. Wagons without wagonees present is no fun.
@Tiger: Why do you think Scumfever is confirmed scum (other than his name)? Even if you do exclude the option of a TvT argument (which I disagree with), why is Gheb the only one who's capable of being town?

wagon circus? does that mean vote for someone? sorry, don't know all the terms.
When you "wagon" someone, you join other players in voting that person. The intent is to build pressure on the person and see how they/others react. If their reaction yields suspicion, lynch them. If someone else's reaction is suspicious instead (such as leaving the wagon when it starts getting big to attack another player for a bad reason), you shift to that person.

Wait, so Cacti usually posting in low amounts makes him less anti-town? Because that's what seems to be coming from your post, correct me if I'm wrong. I think anyone that is working against town should be lynched, with scum on top list, then independent, then the townies that are doing jacksht.

his reasoning for voting blue yoshi were bullcrap and scummy. dont feel like going into too much detail here so i keep it simple: scum will most likely push for a convenient lynch (a lynch that doesnt make them look like scum) and scumfever has been doing exactly that. if you really want to know the details read those posts ive been referring to. dont care if you like it or not. if you want to play this game to win then you will have to do some rereads over the course of the game. deal with it.

i take it then that cacti, riddle, chaco, frozenflame, mentosman, kirbyoshi, chibosempai, tiger woods and marshy all provided enough quiality posts for you to not vote any of them? if so what do you have to say about those people and their posts? what makes circus worthy of your vote? how many more quality posts did those people i mention provide than circus that makes you feel the need to vote him over them? im curious about the vast amount of information you have on those people because i sure as hell dont.

No, that's not exactly what I mean. It's just that I've seen Cacti be quite inactive as a townie before, therefor being inactive isn't an immediate scum tell with him. Doesn't make it a town tell. And although I would prefer him to post more, I'm still not going to concern myself with lynching him based on nothing only to find that he's, predictably, town. In placing him in my list with Mentos and FF, I mostly just want him to post more. With FF and Mentos, I consider inactivity a more legitimate concern. Though I guess FF hasn't really been posting anywhere. Hence my rawr being on who it is.

A vote in the RVS is always bullcrap. Yes, I agree his reasoning afterwards aren't the brightest ones, but nobody is gonna get lynched this early.

I have nothing to say about the people (I don't know their behavior in a mafia, so far I haven't seen any good post from them so I can't judge them)

2. I want to see him post some more

First and foremost, as I have pointed out before I have been very active as scum(HP Mafia, MegaMafia) and town, and the games that I have been much less active that are completed(Test Subject and Simpsons come to mind) I have flipped town. Activity is definitely not a tell for me, as my level of activity directly correlates to how much free time I have(not a whole lot the past few days, car broke down Tuesday night, spent a lot of Wednesday getting it set up to be repaired, most of my waking time Thursday at work, and today getting my car back-->working), and the number of games I am in which are currently in the day stage(at the moment, all 6). I only have so much time and my activity is affected by how much I manage to pull off.
Secondly, not liking Xiivi pushing the Circus wagon as it was. Other than that, no solid reads yet, which is another one of the reasons I haven't been speaking up much

Inactivity based accusations are just easy mode accusations that scum can throw out easily, hope they catch on, and then simply shrug off later without repercussions. People are far to liberal in using inactivity as a basis for their scum hunting and get away with it like it's a universally town mode of pursuit.

In Spider-Manfia, Sharpevil (as scum) coasted hard all game and won. And when I say hard, I mean, like, hard. No exaggeration, I would guess he posted less than 15 or 20 times all game, almost every single one of them a one-liner. But he coasted to endgame and eventually to victory (he was replaced by Chaco very, very, very late in the game) because no one wanted to lynch him since he was new to SWF mafia and kept saying it was hard for him to adjust and so no one could get a read on him and blahblahblah.
That basically chapped my *** on inactives forever. I think calling out inactivity and trying to grill those who feel comfortable coasting is a completely legit play. And frankly, I don't like that you're dismissing it so cavalierly, especially from the position you're in right now.
