LOL i just remembered i was supposed to send you some files?^ It might not be coming out in the US, 3G that is. Also, 3G has no online servers. Bad Move, bro.
PSP seems to be the way to go for MH though. MHFU is stellar and P3rd isn't region locked + has a translation guide.
MH4 will be on 3DS, which kinda disappoints me to be honest, region lock is fail.
But you don't? It's optional and even then it's COMFORTABLE.LOL i just remembered i was supposed to send you some files?
also i agree + the fact that you have to get that extra analog thingy sucks
Which Game (Tri or Portable 3rd?)But you don't? It's optional and even then it's COMFORTABLE.
Also "it doesn't have servers". Who cares? The portable games never had netplay at all in the beginning, and that didn't stopped anyone.
Hell, it's even better if they don't make servers for this and hopefully make some kind of alterate netplay to play with your friends only. That way you don't have to deal with HELP BARROTH URGENT PLZ
Solo player master race reporting in.People only don't like playing solo cuz they suck.
In the meantime I've solo'd the entire game, almost every quest at least once
I should play more though, finish all the achievements and stuff I guess.
Monster Hunter is pretty much a love-it-or-hate-it series. It's grindy, has a really tough learning curve but as a trade off has incredible boss fights and carving up monsters to see what kind of crazy gear you can make out of them is super addictive.I'm thinking of getting the 3ds one, but I'm really not a fan of the grind. Plus the demo was boring. Can anyone sell me on it, maybe tell me why the grind is worth it?
Ah. In that case, it's not as grindy as people make it out to be IMO. Like, the beginning tends to be pretty boring since you're wearing starter gear and you spend the first few hours fighting small fry but once you get your first big hunt the game picks up momentum and gets really fun. I mean, you do tend to fight the same monsters over and over again but the game shakes things up constantly enough to keep it from getting boring IMO.Dark Souls is my favorite game, so a learning curve isn't an issue. I'm just more worried about the grind, you know?
The demo is a really bad representation of the game. I think it gives you a 20 minute time limit for the quests and you are incredibly over geared. Both of these elements mix terribly as a new player will probably fail the quests a couple of times due to running out of time and the overgearing makes it seem like getting hit is not a big deal. MH rewards you by learning from your mistakes and the huge sense of satisfaction when you overcome a wall. I would argue that you don't really have to grind that much since gear isn't too important. In end game, most monsters can 2-3 shot you even when you're in the best armor available and that's why it's incredibly important that you learn a monster's behavior.I'm thinking of getting the 3ds one, but I'm really not a fan of the grind. Plus the demo was boring. Can anyone sell me on it, maybe tell me why the grind is worth it?
