No that's not true, what Chibo is saying is right. It basically IS an investigative power, but not in the same way. It's moreso that you can confirm to someone you are town and he is town as well. Granted, you should never ever 100% trust that your mason partner is guaranteed town, unless mod confirms this. This was my mistake in my first mafia .

Yeah, he could have, but that would've been a bit of a gambit. He could redirect the attention, but no one would ever believe him on that, especially if he so adamantly defended John, who flips scum and then suddenly he finds another scum!
What he did now was attempting to prove he's townie, but Chibo got in way too deep with John to have any hope of surviving the next day.
This is why you don't defend your scum partner adamantly.

I chose the mason route and planned to so I could re-confirm myself as town after seemingly confirming myself as scum. Thought to think any scummy would flat out confirm themselves as scum is insane.

In attempt to get him lynched instead of john? Doesn't seem worth it, since it didn't increase the chances too much to lynching Glyph instead (barring what I did). A vote block power will never be consistent, always one shot, otherwise it would be broken.

When John died and flipped goon, assuming there is a 2 person scum team, we know the last one is a mafia roleblocker.

But I'm a one shot variant? If Glyph isn't lying about yesterday saying he was protecting himself (there's no reason for him to have lied, I'm guessing he was roleblocked and killed yesterday), that means there was two roleblocks in a row, aka not one shot.

Which means there was no plausible way for me to be scum, it was impossible. And a scum role that is a consistent roleblocker with one shot voteblock? Not a real role in the least.

Well first, none of the roles claimed so far have anything strong backed up towards them. I see why John wouldn't respond to T-block about Acrostic being killed if he was a doctor, I see why you would have T-block as auto town and why you would want John lynched if you were a doctor, and I see why Chibo would go after you and not after John at all if he was a cop.

The only thing that benefits voting you over voting John/Chibo is that I don't have a connection with you unless it was T-block, but even then that's a very weak connection, versus Chibo/John who are basically clearing themselves. If you're not scum, then we can force a lynch on Chibo/John (Chibo being the first to go, since he may still have that ability to stop votes). Actually...
