Why would you capitalize "you're" in the MIDDLE of a sentence? n00b:mad:
You put it at the beginning of your post. So it should have been capitalized. Or at least have quotation marks around it.

Changing the subject... Who here is excited for Portal 2? Looks awesome already and they haven't even released any info since E3.

Okay, seriously guys.

Vato isn't trolling when he asks how to counter some of these attacks most of the time. XD He just starts trolling once everyone calls him a troll.

Also Vato is a legit player. He's PR'd in SoCal. That isn't an easy task.

Either that, or Vato trolled me IRL.

asking questions like that when you're ranked in a good region is why people will assume you're trolling. punishing nado in the ditto is pretty simple, it's easy to be skeptical that he actually doesn't know

I completely understand that ete.

But I'd respect one who admits to having issues, even when ranked, than to go along figuring everything out your own because it's seemingly expected of you.

Also I'm more or less assuming he wants to know how to punish nado when he's grounded. Air is obvious (lol dair)

I don't practice the ditto with good metakinghts, if i ever get to play another metaknight they either don't know what they are doing or are not very good. I don't watch videos/top players playing too often to i really don't know what to do, maybe i should start though. i've been using ftilt to stop nado or running away from it but, i will try to use upB. Thanks kaffei!

grounded up B works because of the invincibility frames, otherwise most of your moveset will break it because of transcendent priority. you have to be careful not to get baited though because tornado has wario like air mobility, you can also just shield it and punish it with whatever if close or dash attack/dash grabs if he retreats

Just remember that all of MK's moves beat Tornado except Glide Attack & Dash Attack, since his sword has transcendent priority. Spacing is your best asset in the ditto.

I get a lot of glide attacks on people who try to use B against me. The only player who was really able to consistently out-space it was M2K, and even then I would hit him ~1/3 of the time. That's not very comforting when you're at the beginning of good-DI-kill percents.

If B clashes with glide attack, it will render the attack harmless to him. If it's the last hit of B, it will clash and whomever recovers first will be able to punish.

I was talking about directly challenging Tornado's hit bubbles, but that is helpful to know.

Nah. Stage control is more important.

Like today at MLG, I was playing a bunch of MKs with alright spacing, and would do really well because of their ****ty stage control (like 90% of MKs have **** for stage control. My sandbagging MK was like consistently two stocking P4 because he has bad stage control. Not even bad stage control, like zero. No offense to P4 or anything lol. Those friendlies were fun :p But he really needs to work on that stage control. My hella auto pilot MK was beating his just on limitation of options due to stage control).

You can have bad-mediocre spacing and do well at the ditto. If you have bad stage control, you'll get ****ed up by someone who does, regardless of if your spacing is good. You'll get your *** pressured, followed up, and punished.

Like after playing a variety of ditto matches this weekend it's obvious that MKs stage control is not abused by most characters. And it's soooo simple >_>

And if you're talking about at a really high level, there isn't really a best asset, all of your assets need to be good.

Also, this weekend was amazing, and has made me feel good about myself. People kept complimenting me on my MK being unique, and a couple really good players actually called me good. And I know exactly what I need to work on, so when I get back to SoCal I'm gonna perfect my bad sides and get power ranked.

I got this.

Dude seriously? Idk why you're putting me down, I was not trying one bit. I just wanted to chill and have fun friendlies. I really don't believe you were sandbagging, you were playing pretty serious and asked me what I thought of your MK after 1 game. Lol people don't ask that when they're not trying.

I guess you don't understand that TX doesn't take friendlies very seriously. I am kind of offended you would bring up that you were beating me just to let everyone know. Lol I mean congrats I guess? Idk, they were just friendlies and all johns aside my controller was ****in up all day today. *shrug*
