I have some possible bad news for all: ErenJager's "leak" in the Rumours and Leaks thread which contains new details including Palutena being an assist trophy looks to be gaining legitimacy. Should this be proven, I can see the backlash being colossal.

With all due respect to Erenjager, I can't buy his claim. It doesn't make any sense at all, and is full of logic holes.

I understand what you're saying but ErenJager's story has me 75% convinced that Palutena is an Assist Trophy. Now, I'm just waiting for the admins over at NeoGAF to activate my account so I can see what they think about it.

Oh, and those arguments about her being an assist trophy.... I don't see that happening. If she really is a character in the game, the model portrayed in the ''Leaked'' images seem far too detailed for an assist trophy. Plus she's Palutena, and I view her as a shoe-in playable character. Maybe Magnus will be an assist.

Though I'm part of Viridi's Forces of Nature, I'll support Palutena for becoming a playable character in Super Smash Bros 4.

Besdes Viridi is already confirmed.

Then there is the fact that Palutena would be a amazing chick to play as.

Definitely better than stupid Magnus, I get sick of people saying they want Magnus in.

Therefore with that said Palutena should be added as a playable character, she already has a moveset to work with, Sakurai, you gave her a good one in Uprising when she was a boss being possessed by The Chaos Kin.
