Would anyone be interested in forming a SWF server? Reddit has some sweet mods that I think we should rip off that adds factions and countries, so we could form a BRoom country, Light House, etc.

First, it'd have a few mods like factions where you have town mayors and countries and what not. Secondly, I'd want a fresh, separate server so we would all start fresh. My goal here is to make this totally different from TPK's LH server and make it more of an SWF server that would bring the BRoom, Disco, and LoD in too. Each room could, essentially, form a nation.

I wouldn't be opposed to getting one if I can get a good number of people to commit.

I wouldn't mind. I understand that the servers themselves are probably quite inexpensive, but being unemployed puts a dent in dedication, financially.

You have to be playing with no mods.

If you have no mods installed, then I don't know what the problem would be.

I swear I'm paranoid over the fire spreading to the other wood blocks in my house and I want to make sure I have something safe

If that's Netherrack you should be fine.

Fire should be able to spread to your chest, but the chest will extinguish itself after a couple of seconds. It's just a matter of whether the fire will spread during that short period of time.

Ok now where are the mobs coming from? I can't go to sleep without a mob spawning inside my house and I for the life of me can't figure out where it's coming from

I believe making the walls of your house 2 layers wide instead of 1, or putting torches around the outside of your house will fix it.

Ah, the torches outside of the house fixed it. Thanks. Don't get exactly why mobs that spawn outside would also spawn inside of my house, but it worked

Holy. ****. I feel bad for that guy. I would've cried if that happened to my house. It looked so nice and it looked like he put so much effort into it just so that it all burned down because of a fire place

On the bright side, if that does happen at least my house isn't that fancy where I'd cry if that happened to me. Honestly I'd just be mad if my bookshelves got burnt because it took me 3 days of harvesting an entire circle of sugar stalks around this huge lake right next to my house before I got enough books for just 20 bookshelves

I had a fire from burning Netherrack burn up half the roof of a church I made. ;-;

If ever you're unsure, I know of a solution - wooden slabs! They look the same but don't burn. At least, I'm fairly sure double wooden slabs don't burn. I know single ones can't and don't. I'll have to show you guys a picture of my big house's fireplace... I love it. <3

I honestly don't understand why wooden houses exist. I find it easier to get cobblestone, and I have more of it, too.

Cobblestone happens to be uglier. Also wooden buildings fit certain aesthetics.

In term of nice-looking building materials, smooth stone is the only one that looks better than cobblestone.
