From the sound of it, this sounds like ite's gonna be an update much like 1.7 was (as in, they only added pistons).

1.10 sounds like the one we should be looking forward to for much added content.

I asked this about another game I was playing yesterday. Apparently, if it's still in Beta, you can do that. Think of it not in a math sense, but just a 'counting up' sense.

Holy **** 1.9 is amazing. Nether dungeons look fantastic.

Snowmen look like they're anti-hostile mob, but not necessarily pro-players since I don't think they follow you. And snowballs do like .5 damage.

Since Dokucraft isn't upgrading, I've been looking into new texture packs and Jolicraft looks pretty nice.

Nothing good upgraded to 1.9 yet so I'm stuck with Default. Though, technically I could edit a texture pack to include the default of the new things and keep everything else.

BTW, anyone know how to make an HD texture pack? Do you just make the picture twice as big or something?

The base pack is just Doku's pack, though. Except for the new stuff, but that's understandable.

I think I remember where my love for minecraft came from

Back in the old days when games were DOS, I had a game called "Jet Pack"

I loved that game, I spent hours making complicated maps that I could just barely get through

It's probably what brought about my love of games where I construct things to interact with

I don't have and won't get the pre-release, but there is a CRAPLOAD of people who ***** and whine about things in 1.9 on the Minecraft forum. :/ Surely it doesn't deserve this, but MC's internet fanbase is probably as disgusting as any other fanbases of ill repute.

They are a lot worse from what I see

I remember when those forums people were yelling "NOTCH UPGRADE THE GAME NOW, I DON'T CARE IF IT'S BUGGY"

Notch preceded to release 1.8 early so people could play it

The forums were then filled with "WHY U RELEASE BUGGY GAME EARLY!!!"
