I'm looking forward to creative, as it splits my focus from survival and survival can now become more SURVIVAL.

Creative mode just looks awesome. I hope he includes alot of features most mods had for making crafting an easy process.

Pigmen or Humans?

I'm wanting Pigmen to match my Minecraft "Story" of a man, awakening in the far future where mankind has vanished from the face of the planet. The world now filled with dark creatures such as Giant spiders, exploding moss creatures and the mysterious endermen.

If they turn out to be humans, I'll just change their texture

I love Minecraft... this thread is my new home. There should be more games like this... but then, Minecraft would lose its amazingness if there were more like it! This is better than that flavor-of-the-month FPS everyone plays... hehe.

I'd post pictures of the stuff I've done, but it's... not really... all that epic. A thrown-together village, a big house... it doesn't stand up to awesome faces (well actually yes it does v_v) or Cofagrigus statues.

...or ****ing creepers for that matter... literally.

1.8 is going to be huge. I can NOT wait.

Oh and as for Psycho's question... I'd prefer other humans, I don't like Pigmen

Add a button near it. It will close in a few seconds though, regardless of you go through it or not

Or redstone wiring and a pressure pad at the bottom of the trap door area

yeah, but fast forwarding time without a bed kinda ruins the survival part imo.

The reason why you can do such things because its a pre release originally intended for bug testers/ extensive bug testing.
So fast forwarding time wont be a survival mechanic in the actual release most likely :3

Also, is there still a server for everyone here? On Reddit, they made a nations server where they were different towns, countries, and PVP. I think they even added factions.

I am pretty pumped about 1.8, even though a lot of the bigger stuff was pushed to 1.9.

If anyone wants to decorate with vines, watch out. They spread like a plague infesting everything they can touch.
