Sup?
So... is it too soon to hope that the rest of this week will be new? We just got something new, so... I'm hopeful.

Yes, this was certainly my favorite pic of the day in a LONG time. I want to actually know more about the mechanics; that being said, Link's tether looks absolutely ridiculous (in a good way).Excellent PotD. If we had mechanics and gameplay pics from here on out I wouldn't complain.
We had so many items and stages showcased in the direct that these sort of pictures only make sense at this point in the Smash cycle. (I honestly prefer them regardless.)Yes, this was certainly my favorite pic of the day in a LONG time. Trust me, as an avid Link main, I am more than excited for his changes. Even the subtle alterations like his new dash attack or back dodge really make all the difference. His recovery also looks vastly improved, as you mentioned. This Link has the potential to be better than the Project M Link, actually. It is probably too early to make that call, but so far, it is looking pretty good.We had so many items and stages showcased in the direct that these sort of pictures only make sense at this point in the Smash cycle. I find it humorous that so many individuals on these boards were complaining that with all the veteran changes we've seen that Link's recovery wasn't going to be touched. Well, it's been touched.
This made me laugh more than it should have.Sakurai: "Oh, look at this BIG shadow on Pyrosphere! It's on a Rool! Now don't be Shulking, this game is turning out to be a gem. A Krystal, even! Can't wait for the game to release, it makes me quite Tingley! Oh, and btw, there's a Arceus in this game! And a Mew, Too! Oh, and once, I met a tuna named Palu. Ever seen Palu Tuna?"
I am honestly more curious about Lucas' tether recovery. It would be insane to see it stretch that far.Lovin' the pic, finally getting away from the direct fillers. . . But this would've been great if a certain Pokémon with Vine Whip was still around.
I always forget about his tether recovery! Wow, now that'll look really awkward if it were to stretch as far as the tethers displayed in today's picture.I am honestly more curious about Lucas' tether recovery. It would be insane to see it stretch that far.
We got information on tethers, and, through those, a way for multiple people to grab a ledge. Now watch as people are perfectly fine with filler tomorrow...

Tethers
Ledges with multiple entities
This can only mean one thing:
[collapse= Dun dun DUN]
Same here. Although - and I know how silly it is predicting patterns - wednesday's are notorious for filler. After yesterday, I'm more confident in a non-filler pic today.
Isn't the invitational only happening in America though? I wouldn't bet on it, unless something similar is happening Japan.I'm wondering if Sakurai will acknowledge the Smash Bros Invitational, wait until closer to E3, or not at all.
No One Piece? Aw man.Seeing as there's no manga tonight, I'm hoping Sakurai gives us something awesome. He probably won't though. Last night was great, lets hope it continues! Last update for April.
Speaking of international span, there's an Invitational going on in my Canadian backyard, for anyone interested.Isn't the invitational only happening in America though? I wouldn't bet on it, unless something similar is happening Japan.
Yeah that's true... it still seems like something that should be international. The video didn't specify, but I guess it implied it was an American event.Isn't the invitational only happening in America though? I wouldn't bet on it, unless something similar is happening Japan.
I know! Hopefully this is Oda's last break for a while. It's too good at the moment to wait two weeks for.No One Piece? Aw man.
Still, the E3 announcement didn't mention any other game except Smash Bros so they must have something big planned.
Ah, my original Ridley. I was so Young when I first played Super Metroid. I Think it took a few years Before I finally was able to get to Ridley's second battle, and it was so Epic knowing I could finally put the beast down. That moment when Ridley grabbed me while I was nearly out of Health, only for him to explode, was pure Epic. Ahh. I miss Metroid.
Sakurai said:Pic of the day. With the Super Leaf, any fighter can have ears and a tail. You can also float in the air by pressing the jump button. We're still figuring out whether you'll be able to attack with the tail...
Super Ridley was pretty special for me, I guess. Plus, I remember having a very tough time agains him that first time. I was very Young, and probably waster my Super Missiles too much. But oh well. Ridley is Epic in both Primes he's in. I REALLY hope Retro is working on Another one. Those games are the main part that made the GameCube my favorite console.I don't particularly have fond memories of Super Metroid Ridley, considering I killed it in one attempt by shelling him with super missiles. Meta Ridley come Prime 1 is another story. What a glorious metallic... something?
New Metroid spin-off starring Ridley confirmed to be shown at E3.
I think we can all relate to Toon Link's expression here.
