Miiverse Daily Pic Thread: 2nd Edition (Updated 9/19)

I just went back to check character reveal times.
Up until marth, character reveals were typically late, (mostly 2-3 hours late, with marth's being 20 minute late)
However, all reveals after that have been extremely early, 30-60 minutes early with most veterans.
I'm counting this with 1:00 being the time when i get these, besides the last few weeks.

In short: if it isn't early, don't expect a character. (at least until it switches back to late characters)

Pic of the day. Here's the Prism Tower stage for the 3DS version! The battle begins on ground level right in front of the tower.

You'll have to climb the tower by securing footholds like these moving platforms!

By the time you reach the top, the sun is already setting. The view from up there is quite a treat.

I'm loving the fact that he's going into detail about the stages now. Still, I can't help but feel sour that we didn't get a single character reveal this month.

We've been getting 2 characters in one Month since December, fyi.

Hence the plural months :d

You know Sakurai might not think of the updates in terms of months at all?

Oh, of course. He showed off Peach, Toon Link and Sonic in pretty quick succession, no doubt he could show multiple fighters in a week if he felt like it. But the char reveals are the big sellers of these games, and he's almost~ consistently shown at least one character a month, some that share no anniversaries nor celebrate a game release.
In the end, it's still his call. Whether he has them planned per month or not, no one can say for sure, so there's an argument for both sides. Doesn't bother me much either way what things he decides to show for PotD.

Seriously, I've really enjoyed the entirety of this month. Not sure what you people are complaining about. This month has been absolutely fantastic when it comes to new details and information.

I honestly hope next month is just like this month.

Imagine you're playing Classic Mode on the 3DS version. Then you beat a match on Prism Tower and then it needs to save your progress to get to the next. We're going to have crashes galore!

The thing that scares me about Tuesday is.....April Fool's Day.

They're a business that has a struggling console, I doubt they can afford to point the middle finger at their fans in one of the wii u's potential life saver's. I think their facebook post will have an april fools, nothing more.

Or, the first pic of a day will be a dumb one and the he'll say "april fools" when the real pic revealing the character is shown like what happens usually when there is a direct revealing a character.

There's no link because they quickly took it down. They made a statement that a lot of Mario Kart 8 info was going to be revealed soon on their Twitter account. This tweet was taken down less than an hour later so many people think they jumped the gun and Nintendo told them to remove it.

I think this is the first time we got to see Pikmin on the 3DS. Honestly, the 3DS has some of the more interesting stages we've seen. Lumiose City and Spirit Train are my favourites.
