Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

I quite liked it except everything spat phazon. Why couldn't something have spat green at me, not to mention everything having a hyper mode. The suits are what's suposed to allow that. Even the Tin bots had a hypermode :/

The big deal about pressing A to kill the levi's just semed such a waste. I expected later ones to move around or something, but nope. :/

Dark saums. What a freaking letdown. She got so much weaker since MP2. Very disapointing.

the lame. The fight with her was very much the same fight as the time you fight her in that technological zone in MP2, except quicker and not challenging. Not to mention that you only fight her for that one brief fight, the rest of the fight is against that Aura unit. While cool, it's not the huge and challenging fight I imagined I'd be having against Dark Samus, who's powered by phazon, on an ENTIRE PLANET MADE OF THE STUFF. Where was the giant tendrils poping out of the ground? Where was the dramatic escape after defeating Dark Samus? Where was the actual defeat of Dark Samus? We blew the hell out of her way more damaging in Metroid 2 and 1 and she regenerated fine from those, why couldn't she do it this time, especially concidering all the phazon that would be around to regenerate from? (I haven't seen any of the secret endings after the credits, so don't spoil it for me please) And where's the explanation as to why the place was totally infested by Metroids?

Was a great game, I just really was disapointed by the end.

the sheer patheticness of all 3 parts of the boss fight...if the unit put up more of a fight, maybe after you severed the connecting piece it didn't have an exposed weak point the whole last phase what was amazingly easy to get at....they could at least have given us some reason to use various hyper attacks during it. I mean, hyper grapple? Sorry, but crappiest upgrade ever. Was only used to blow up 1 thing blocking a door and used in Ridley's seed. What a waste of an upgrade. Where was the uses of the phazon missiles? The Hyper Ball? There wasn't a single boss that needed morph balll usage, except that minor encounter with Ridley at the start.

I AM QUITE INTRIGUED BY YOUR DISLIKE, but putting caps on never proved a point. Dark samus(Alpha metroid(Prime)) merged with the phazon suit to acquire that form. The unit probably felt like a moving target is a harder target to kill, at least i do. Did you know you could offload energy with the darkgrapple into the puddles to prevent total corruption? The phazon missiles were uber important in terms of taking down an enemy fast, i used them the most when i went hyper and had to kill strong people. It depends on your battle style, i am more of a high risk -high return type of guy so i got the most out of hyper mode--Utilizing all of the hyper attacks to the max. The hyper ball kills metroid "like a bob-omb to the head at three hundred percent!"

All other hyper attacks were nearly useless.

The shooter genre is known for just running, shoot things and beat a boss, and go to the next level, metroid prime isnt like that, it has puzzles, upgrades, and its an all-out adventure, thus a 1st person adventure game...

So I guess Zelda is a sword fighting game instead of a platformer? Heck, Melee is a 2-D adventure game because there's adventure mode.

This is exactly what I was talking about before. You couldn't like the game because what you thought it was is wrong. And you argue your point by taking one element of the game and completely ignored the rest.

@BLAZER787; I have to say that there was no title(S) (1st person/Adventure) released this year that made MPC;3 look lackluster. I am not a fanboy or a biased one either i am just saying i find that hard to believe. I beat MP3:C in 21:45(i leave my game on too much, i am glad the wii doesnt absorb alot of electricity) and i have 100%(in veteran difficulty), I love this game and am still happy because i have it.

Let's just put it this way:

MP3:C is more focused on single player. Halo 3(obviously the only game you're talking about) is more focused on Multiplayer. Sure it has single player, but it's obviously made to be a multiplayer game. If you're going to hate MP3 because it doesn't have multiplayer, than I must ask you, why do you like Final Fantasy games?

Maybe the problem is your expectations are too high. (Reminds me of people who complain about Brawl updates <.<)

OMFG!!!!! i finally beat MP:3. 100% on veteran mode. 20 hours. it was a great game. although i missed not having the great escape after the final boss like all the other metroids

Its sylux from Metroid hunters, im guessing, being connected with the GF, hes gonna appear in the next metroid, and DUDE I got ALL the items on all the planets, how many items are there in valhalla, its the only place that place in elysia that doesnt show where the items are, and im ONE item away, and I CANT find it!!

if you have found every item on all he planets......then its on the ship. the ship is small so it shouldnt be a problem.

Well, for those who don't know, it's possible to beat the game with only three energy cells.

(You skip two by screw attacking into the bridge in the Aurora Chamber before you get the two needed to bring it down. You reappear on the platform after the terminal fall.)

well, you either missed one in the valhalla, which i dont see why you would, all the items in the valhalla are easy to get OR you are stuck in the same way i was. when you go to elysia and downlaod the suit expansions they only show you the ones on the map that you can see. but if you go to an area where you have to warp to it, it wont show. i was missing my last energy tank, and it was in the bryyo ice temple, which you can only access by warping there. so maybe your missing one of the items in the warped areas? if not, then it has to be in the valhalla. if not check again closely through all the maps. remember that different locations on the world will yeild different maps...peace

hmmm, well, i know there are other warp points with items, but i dont remember them off the top of my head. just check a guide out and make sure you got all the ones in the valhalla, if you do, then you HAVE to be missing one in a warp zone, LOL, i said "warp zone"...peace

anyway in hypermode the final boss is a pain, easy, but hard to take down IMO... when I fisnihed him I was like YES! and then took a screen of sylux´s ship...

by far one of my fav. games...
