Menu Color Hacks

The old version of brawlbox had a glitch where some CLr0 files got corrupted when you edited them. Try again with the new version.

Also, the menu is sweet. Put it in pfmenu2 and had no issues at all. Maybe this is a problem for PAL players only?

I think (don't remember) I tried with the new version and it still failed.

But if this is true and works....

I planned on recoloring and moving the entire menu's layout, then hopefully adding some GFX. <3 We really, really need a B+/B-/PM menu theme. Although I wonder what decides what input does what. Like, button selection. :p

Also, are you guys SD loading? I never tried SD loading so I wouldn't know how reliable it is.

What's SD loading?

I put it in my SD card and load the game from an external HD but that's never been a problem until now...

Edit: wow I'm dumb the reason is you have to take out the "_en" right before the .pac on the download so it's named correctly >_>

Works perfectly now.

Yeah, so you SD loaded it. I don't need to worry about _en or any of that jargon because I'm just replacing the file itself on the iso.

You kids and your SD cards.
I wish mine still worked. T_T

LOL I didn't even notice the descriptions until someone pointed them out I was too enamored by the colors.

P.P.P.S. PLEASE TELL ME IF THERE IS AN ERROR WITH THE COLORS! For some odd reason, when sharing this among a select few for testing and prerelease I was told a menu would go green when it should've gone red.

No luck. I am going to start changing every color I can find in the files I find suspicious and then come back with results.

Edit: I am going to redo everything. I have a clean file. Just recolor it, change the text and update everything (a lot of text changing).

Lol its funny cus I kno a guy named Steve with the Tag name Trigger Happy (Trig on brawl) who mains Samus and like G&W as well. And hacks Brawl o.o Lol

Anyway everything bout your menu color ... thingy seemed fine. All colors worked except Online Wifi (Grey). The colors just didnt seem as vibrant as teh pix. I just wanted the wifi text to normal cus it made me feel like a loser and I cried

I'm sorry for making you feel that way. Also, that's why I am going to update the menu colors. To fix that gray (I went through blindly because the original color changes are RIDICULOUSLY faint and unnoticeable).

Also, who said we're not the same person.

I updated the original file. I believe I have all the colors in, changed a LOT of menu text (a lot more cursing apparently). And personal edits aren't there anymore (like inside jokes, pictures, etc).

Upload sometime later.

I need to sleep.

P.S. Whoops, forgot to remove the edges.

I guess I should take a stab at the CSS.
Shouldn't be too hard. I was the first to do the Menu, I might as well be the first to do the CSS all the way.

I really want to get rayquaza's stage into the background :p

I think I am very close to getting it. I got what I am assuming is part of the circle in the background, but I can't find the palette or the animation color for it.

Here are pics. I am gonna upload in a moment. Censored because I don't know how kindly you guys look on cursing.










I can't snapshot wifi menu because I am an idit. :)
