I got my exam back that I was worrying about in Antenna Theory and got a 92 =3.

I stress over nothing sometimes, and its always about stupid **** too >_>.

But yea, good grade for that made me =D. Sion/Bamesy comin over tomorrow makes me =D more.

This week totally *****.

I asked him when but I had to submit my PTO (personal time off) the other day (for the rest of the year) and he couldn't give me an answer. >_< so I'm not sure I'd be able to go now.

PS: I wish I could make my name this color blue =( I still like the pink though regardless.

Not a whole lot. I have to help revise a fiction story for a writing class. I just can't bring myself to do it though. Her story literally starts with this:

(EDIT: decided to take it out should the chick decide to google search her story and find this. But it was bad, it talked about a restored Mustang and some tattooed guy calling his girl "Baby" a lot while they go and sell coke).

It's your stereotypical Natural Born Killers story but with the most horrific grammar I have seen in a long time. I just can't bring myself to read through it again to help make suggestions other than "Learn how to create your own story and not rip off something that's been done in almost every modern movie" and fix this paper without first lighting it on fire.


...so what's up with you?

I never thought I'd say this, but the other story I had to read was worse. In terms of story it was ok (little girl learning what happens in fairy tales after the Happily Ever After). However, the girl asked a lot of questions in the story and the author (also female) used only one question mark. ONE!!!

Somewhere hungry box ( Hbox in case he name searches) is dying. She never used you're, she talked about Shrek a lot and spelled Ogre as OGGERE, and a good amount of the sentences don't end with anything resembling punctuation. And these two want to be authors!? I'm taking this class as a BS elective and I was asked about publishing my story (insert f*** yeah face), but these two aren't even trying! I may have to redirect them to the liberal arts area. They don't look good enough to be redirected to the Trophy Wife Academy.

hahaha i feel your pain. ive never suffered through a creative writing class, but I've had to edit group papers for other classes and it just tragic.

creative writing majors, though, i get the impression, have some idea that writing stories is just about Ideas, and not about, like, grammar and presentation and not sucking.

I am not a writer although my best friend is. Together he and I (and my twin) are writing a book that's coming out fairly well haha.

And yes these are college students. And not just freshmen straight out of high school. In fact I think one of them is graduating in December with me O.o

And FoxLisk: I know huh!? Some of us in that class care about grammar and diction, but the larger majority (and the writing majors no less) don't seem to care for the aforementioned nor do they have the ability to come up with anything that is considered even remotely creative or original. I know that it's all been done before, but don't blatantly rip off stories that have been done over and over again. It's like watching a Jean Claude VanDam movie (please, oh please someone catch that reference).

I'm waiting for the next story I read to be labeled Rocky IV The Boxer 5
and finish with the underdog American champion beating the unstoppable Russian German who killed his best friend brother who happened to be black.

What pro smashers are there that like never go on smashboards? I think silentspectre and darkrain dont have smashboards accounts, lol.

We all know mango doesnt have an account (that we know of). I've found most good players don't really check the boards much unless they are mods or something.

Strange. Maybe going on smashboards is detrimental to your skill level...

Didn't mango have an account though? I thought he did.

There's probably as many high level players that commonly post on smashboards as there are who dont.
Off the top of my head m2k, hungrybox, mango before he was b@, dr pp, axe, amsah, taj, hax, zhu, and 90% of the really good canadian players.

lol at twin editing people's bad stories. I always hated having to do that.
