NFL/Rappers/Olympus is out. I think those ideas are so terrible that if every person in the entire world liked the idea, I would literally have omni switch control of the thread to someone else to make the change. That's how much I hate those kind of ideas.

Come on guys, this should be real simple. Something cool and exciting, and probably cartoony.

Actual pokemon and not gym leaders isn't a bad idea. Kingdom Hearts characters, FF7 and/or Dissidia characters, DBZ, Different colored power rangers or characters (like Ivan Ooze). Metroid Hunters? Punchout characters? Fire Emblem classes ( i personally love this one). Members of the tantalus. Castlevania heroes. Sonic Riders characters (lolz). Enemies from earthbound. Final Fantasy VI characters. There are like 6000 options here.

Yup, just stick with MvC2.

Or MvC3 since Lobos Ninja'd me.

Korn(1 Set): Power ranked 5th
Chudat(1 Set): power Ranked 1st
Vinnie(1 set): power ranked 2nd in NY under Anti
Yes!(1 Set): Power ranked 10th in Jersey
TUSM(1 Set): Power Ranked 5th in PA

Coney(X2 sets): Power ranked 9th <---I got 2nd
Korn(1 Set): Power ranked 5th <----- I got 2nd
Chudat(1 Set): power Ranked 1st <---- Don't remember but it was bad. I placed higher then Chu though , I think it was the first tourney of the season
Vinnie(1 set): power ranked 2nd in NY under Anti <--- Got 9th out of 90 people
Yes!(1 Set): Power ranked 10th in Jersey <------- Got 9th out of 90 people
TUSM(1 Set): Power Ranked 5th in PA <-----I got 2nd

= Harrisburg tourney in PA last weekend, he beat Coney 1set in pools, 1set in winner's finals
and got 2nd overall

Chudat(1 Set): power Ranked 1st = I'm pretty sure it was during Gamepad where Chu lose to PS and him..

Actually everyone agreed with me and you basically started just restating your main point with out backing it up.

It was like this:

you: GIMR, placings show consistency

Me: actually if you're able to beat good players consistently you'll also be placing constituently. They go hand in hand, who you beat should matter if you're beating a variety of good players

you: no GIMR placings are more important

Me: let me try and comprimise

you: no placings are more important

A couple of people: I agree with GIMR

No One: I agree with Omni

That event was last season. Sorry.

If it was last season then why didn't it count towards the rankings? That's just stupid. Chu did horrible, PS did great and it obviously didn't show in the rankings because PS got 4th and Chu got 1st, And now you're saying it doesn't count towards this season? IF it WAS REALLY apart of last season then it would've counted.


TLDR; If an event didn't count towards the rankings last season then it WAS NOT last season no matter how many times you say it was last season.

so, Chu got 13th at a local with 25 people. PS got first and beat junebug, chu, and Candy twice and that wasn't enough to change the rankings?


How about this. If you guys decide to finalize the rankings before the last event of the season, just push that event to the next season instead of it being ignored.

Chu got 9th, first of all. He also lost to the person who got 1st.

The event wasn't ignored, it just simply didn't sway the season rankings any further.
