I agree with forkgirl. Winter break Melee tournament FTW.

I might buy brawl again cause that's all houston plays and thats who I'm closest to in College.
Majoras loves brawl now.

I'll probably start going to biweeklys/smashfests when I'm down, but keep melee. At least a setup for friendlies.

i was watching a marathon a pokemon like 2 weeks ago and decided im gonna be the very best hahahaha. but i have yet to play smash or brawl since before then. but now that im home for the hurricane ill probably go to this bi weekly. and win (probably not) anyways i feel like playing this weekend so ill see whats up.

also i felt like going to pokemon tournys again lol but they r way to far for me.

edit: i lied there is a league in corpus only 30 minutes from kingsville. but they play on saturdays and we have crappy football games on saturdays.

yeah since 2005 i had been going up to san antonio, dallas, and houston for the bigger tournaments. ii havent been to any since like summer of 2007. its mostly card game but there is almost always a gba or now ds side tourny. i miss them probably the most fun tournies i traveled to besides the laredo/ nuevo laredo ones.

anyway is there gonna be melee at the bi weekly?

dang i miss all you guys in mission lol. it's been so long, i don't know when i'm gonna go back there, but when i do, i'm definately gonna try to go to one of these. ESPECIALLY for MELEE!!!!! =D i still love melee so much lol

Hey ladies, come to the doubles tourney at the D-Pad on October 18th. The date has been changed. 2 v 2 Swiss system with money match stations set up. Come make Smash history as we push 2 v 2 into the limelight and try out the sexy Swiss system (DE is dumb). All of TX's best will be there.

I won be hosting a tournament in two weeks again as there is another tournament at cyber comics on the same date, everyone should go to that tournament instead.

Where were all the melee players for this? I was tryin to play a melee tournament, but nobody came. And yayyyy to me for finally beating magik in brawl, in back to back sets.

that suks no melee players at all?

i ended up attending my friends birthday shindig. i couldnt have made it either way my car is still dead. :(

that apt im at has wireless but i dont no how fast it is yet. and there is no ethernet plug in the living room so i cant use my wifi adapter but ill see how the wireless is this weekend

turns out i cant make houston this weekend magik, got a mid term on monday =/

and it seems rey wouldnt be able to make it either even if I did go?

maybe you should just host a bi weekly this saturday so i can still play brawl/melee and have time to study

haha magik i saw that you and broly got to go to HOBO. I really hope you guys got to play all the pros there. Especially in melee, I hope you both played m2k. Its fun playing his fox/marth because they're both completely perfect. I wonder if he 4 stocked you like he did to me=/

We didnt play them in melee but M2K 2 stocked all of us everytime he played us, except for vash who was able to beat him twice. I lost to DSF and hylian in the touranment but i played alot of friendlies with DSF and was able to beat him for more than half the games. But everything you said how M2K plays was right lol.

noooooooo. axe= too goodness from arizona. came down to the valley(and ***** everyone) like a year ago. i learned alot of neat stuff from his pika and his falco is ****.

y would i say axel was the best pikachu to grace the valley lol.
