jigglypuff's matchups imo:

puff < fox
puff = falco
puff > sheik
puff >= marth (I would put it as 55/45...significantly harder than sheik, but still in jiggs' favour...)
puff > falcon
puff > peach

less sure about:
puff = ganon
puff ? ICs (I've only played one ICs in tournament, and it was Wobbles.)
puff = doc
puff >= samus
puff > mario
puff > pikachu

and after that i just don't really know what i'm talking about. but i could make educated guesses.

heh, i started typing in numbers at first. if my >= doesn't work with the chart, just make it =. in fact, just read those as = and i'll leave them in for clarification.

I have almost never played Marth vs ICs so I didnt even bother giving a bad guess. Puff is my second least played in this list.

5 is my unit of advantage. A 50 match-up is approximately even. It won't be exactly even (impossible outside of mirrors) but the players will play the biggest role. A 55 match-up is a slight advantage. Definitely winnable but will take some work. 60 is gonna be rough. I would consider this unwinnable without having a skill gap over your opponent. I don't have much experience with match-ups that are outside of this range....

ness should beat mewtwo soundly. that camping w/ teleport **** doesn't work, M2 has no combos in this match and Ness can move way faster than M2 can all around. mewtwo really has no advantage in this match at all sans the obvious one for recovery.

I beat Mofo pretty soundly in friendlies and he declined my offer to money match me at Apex. He said that Mewtwo is a tough match for Ness, because of his mobility.

During the match, I had decent combos from probing down tilt. I could put out a lot of pressure whenever he needed to double jump for recovery, and if I treated Ness like a short ranged Zelda, it takes a while for Ness to find his KO.

Marth wins 60/40 against IC's, imo.

I can go into more detail on both match-ups if anyone wants to PM me.

Can you post the link to the new one here when its made? I mostly just follow my subscriptions and i rarely check for new threads.

edit- that chart wasn't that difficult to make at all. I'm all for efficiency and accessability tho, so if the new chart requires match-ups per stage I might be able to make a little program to allow someone to type in their values simply and then convert that to a chart like mine. That could potentially solve a lot of johnsproblems people will be having and help prevent spam in the new thread.

why are we making a new chart, and why does it only have 5 matchup classifications? where's the reasoning behind this? 5 is just too few imo.

edit: also, i would encourage everyone to actually use reasoning whenever they try to argue a matchup in the new thread, and ignore anyone who just states their opinion without any reasons. would make things a lot easier.
