In other news: Today I'll be going back home for thanksgiving, where I'll be having a solid connection for WiFi. If people want to play my Mario, Link, or Ike, you guys can PM me sometime after 7 PM EST, which is when I should be home. I know a bunch of you guys PMed me before but I couldn't accept the matches.

So...basically for Christmas I'm just asking for Chrono Trigger DS, Wii Point Cards (Want all the Metroid Games/Super Mario RPG, other games.) And a Gamecube controller *crosses fingers hope they still them*, and a Classic Controller. And Sonic Unleashed looks friggen sweet.

Also gonna buy Starcraft 2 with my Christmas money when it comes out.

I think they still have platinum GC controllers where I am, not any other colors though. I've wanted an orange one for awhile now XD

Sonic unleashed looks epic, but I hear the werehog parts are nothing short of terrible. What's more, you play that thing more than regular Sonic. Sega never learns...I play Sonic games to...you know...play Sonic; not some spinoff.

Lol yes, but no one on campus plays Maylay on a competitive level. =|

So I rented Unleashed for the Wii... and I beat it in under 12 hours. The game's decent, but Werehog really kills it for me. To rate it, I'd have to give it a 7/10. Best Sonic game in recent times, but the adventure series was more grand.

I'm glad I only rented it.

im really lazy to make the thread but, has anyone tried out the edge grabbing for mario? it seems very useful in a way.

I would but I don't really have anyone I can test it with.

It -looks- useful, but I'm not seeing the magic right now. Maybe a potential Grab-release to Epic Spike setup.

Hopefully, but I don't really think so I've tried on a lot of characters and didn't really find any Grab release combos .

Turns out jump release to F-air (spike) is inescapable on Wario. Off course, His feet must not be touching the ground, so this is limited to only if you grab him at the edge. Still, good way to get an easy kill.

I think with Infinite banned, it'd be 60:40 DDD. The chaingrab still hurts. =| (Unless I can finally put that camping to the real test...)

But a few DDD mains are saying without the infinite it'd be in Mario's advantage.

But it's ultimately up to the SBR, and I don't think to many SBR members main the 5, which is a good/bad thing, at least the votes won't be biased.

Hmm...Xyro's thread made me wonder. Maybe Boss, Monk, Bo, and other Mario mains made them realize that Mario always had potentional in tournaments.

I looked at Xyro's result thread and there was 3 Mario's in top 9 :D. He's like the MK of low tier xD.

I played in a tournament over the summer with about 50 or so smashers in it. Mario got in the final round and came in second!! The tournament was for melee rather than brawl though...
