I'm still hyped...gettin better through wifi (I think...:c)

Just gotta get to a tourney. I haven't seen/heard from Sassy in foreverrrr, and he's usually my ride to tourneys.

Gonna try really hard to go to WoodBridge tourney if Kenrawr holds one.

Anyone wanna do some Wifi?
I wanna if you're still asking. I'm adding you as I type this.

My FC is 1763-9978-5633

I live in Woodbridge so I'll probably be going to that :D. Wifi I realize will only make you better if your playing people at least equal, or better then you. It seems if I play people worse than me (I'm trying hard not to sound conceited) and the player doesn't punish me for things, I may pick up bad habits. It makes me feel bad to have to say 1v1 anyone gud in the AiB chat room but it has to be done :(.

I have done absolutely nothing smash wise.
We should get together and brawl sometime man. I haven't played you since Pound and offline is better than wifi.

I haven't touched brawl since Pound 5 and I wasn't at my best then. I had/have some bad habits I repicked up from not playing. Also it's gonna suck to practice because I don't have a wii and I probably won't get one. Honestly I'm leaning towards getting myself a 360 for next year and probably will get whatever Project Cafe turns out to be. I'm gonna try to go to some tourneys next school year though assuming I have a car (I like driving myself places).

I actually placed 1st in a local just yesterday. Went Mario/Ganon/G&W.

8 man local with $1 entry fee yeah, but still. The only other person who really knew what they were doing afaik was Dantarion, and he probably was pretty rusty. My Mario beat his DK pretty solidly. I had fun frametrapping his airdodge with weak DAs into regrabs/U-tilts/D-smashes, and I also camped him like hell on Brinstar for the fun of it. Went G&W when I realized his Snake actually was harder to deal with than his DK, and it pretty much was clear to me he was out of practice compared to me at that point. Combined by the fact that I'm extremely comfortable with the Snake matchup.

Felt good spending $5 on pizza and getting my money back. I'm only mad that I'm not back in Los Angeles where MikeHaze is hosting tournaments behind my back.

Nope.. technically I got it for 15, but that was due to a gift card I had..

This week Toys R Us having a sale for 20 dollars off MK, and then inside the free magazine they give out is a 10 dollar off coupon, making the grand total 30 :]

I had a 15 dollar gift card for buying Marvel vs Capcom 3 on launch as well.

My Bowser is pretty garbage xD, I laughed and went "wtf?" in my head whenever you hit with his down-b

Also, holycrap Mario is so hard to hit on Brinster
you gotta teach me the ways of the fireballs lol

I was literally just running away and fireballing, lol. It's easier online because fireballs are OP on wifi.

It really does feel like Mario gets some huge buffs on that stage if you play keep-away.

I'm glad you're seeing the powers of Brinstar Matador.

All I do is just live on the edge on that stage sorta. I just jump back and fireball a LOT in most matchups on that stage and do this until the lava harasses my opposition into more stupid situations. I beat Dantarion's DK in tournament this way. Most characters literally just can't follow up on you if you jump back from the platforms and throw a fireball, while you have the option of either landing or grabbing the edge. Getting up from the edge on this stage is generally much easier since the platform is there for you to land on to resume your camp strategy.

The other gay thing you get to do on Brinstar is aim fireballs at inclines to create walls of fire that control a lot of space vertically.

Random tip: If you do buffered fullhop double fireballs, from experimentation I think the second fireball has the exact same height and trajectory as that of a buffered short hop fireball. This is helpful to know on Brinstar where you have a lot of flexibility in how to aim your fireballs.

Good games JuxtaposeX. Yes, it was unfortunate that I screwed up. It was bad luck mixed with stupidity. Haha. We should play some more sometime.

Good games Matador. Your Bowser was looking pretty good. Yeah, Bowser is so fun to use. He's definitely one of my fav characters. I wanted to play some more but I had to go, sorry about that. We need to do some more Bowser dittos if you're down.
