An Australian major brawl/melee tournament at ACL Sydney on the 2nd and 3rd of July!


Where: University of New South Wales Roundhouse Theater Room.



Costs:

Entry fees: $25 first day, $10 second day

Smash Events:
Brawl Singles - $5
Brawl Doubles - $5
Melee Singles - $5
Melee Doubles - $5

Other Events:
Halo Reach 4v4 - $10
Halo Reach FFA - $5
CoD: Black Ops - $10
Fifa 11 - $5
Super Streetfighter IV - $5
Marvel vs Capcom 3 - $5




Schedule:


ACL Times:
Saturday: 8:30am-10pm
Sunday: 8:30am-6pm

Smash Schedule:
Saturday: Brawl doubles starting at 10:30, Melee singles as soon as we can get enough free TVs. OTHER EVENTS OF GOODNESS MAY FOLLOW.
Sunday: Melee doubles starting at 10, followed by Brawl singles.




Rulesets:

Stage striking will be the main mode of neutral stage selection, however, if both players agree, random neutral can be selected with one ban per player.

BRAWL:
No stupidity ie infinite cape, infinite cg past 300% etc etc. Usual junk.

Tedeth's awesome rule of win: Anyone playing Sheik must wear the dunce hat throughout the entirety of their games. Failure to wear the dunce hat is an instat DQ.

So many tournaments. I wouldn't be able to attend, unless the trip down and accom was free. Same would go for Jaice I assume. Flights to Reloaded already cost too much.

QLD has Lansmash the next weekend after this, and then reloaded the weekend after that for those of us attending. So much $$$$.

If QLD were to arrive Friday and leave Monday... the only times Jetstar can price match Tiger is:

To Sydney:
Friday - $36 (including price-match)
Leave - 8:25pm
Arrive - 10pm

To Brisbane:
Monday - $36 (including price-match)
Leave - 6:30pm
Arrive - 7:55pm

All the good fly times are on Sat and Sunday middayish =/
Edit: Actually there are no times on Sat that Jetstar can PM Tiger and there's only one PM possible for leaving Sydney on Sunday. So to any QLD'ers who want to go, above is your best option.
