whoa dude, there's way too many power roles in that one.
That's solid, but a little higher player count would be legit. Short phases a plus. Just want to play mafia and not follow the cop at the moment. Need there to be sign-ups open already.
I can run that with either 7 or 11 players, depends how many signups I get (maybe more if I can get the balance right). If nobody else has anything ready to go once the current game ends, I could have it up and ready by the end of today or tomorrow.

(I may be doing VGM2 towards the tail end of this year if I'm able to simply because Sprite only has that timeframe available.)

I don't mind either way. I'm more or less ready to go with that setup at any time, but if people want to try your game instead, then I'm okay with that.or if ya'll need me to host I can do that.

we either do this for this game right now1) I host Ricochet and you host the Nightless Mafia (Ricochet is nothing like Mafia and relies on night actions, so, it'll make a good compliment. Plus, I won't really care about having long deadlines if I need to wait)
2) I host Mafia (the Nightless one) and you play in it

I want to take a bit of a break from playing Mafia for a while, so I guess option 1?
1) I host Ricochet and you host the Nightless Mafia (Ricochet is nothing like Mafia and relies on night actions, so, it'll make a good compliment. Plus, I won't really care about having long deadlines if I need to wait)

I second Ryker's notion
if there were more players than 11, 15 (4scum) would probably be ideal. balancing real fast on this for WCS. this is why i think 11 is probably your best bet
-if scum never put themselves up for nomination, the game would end at day 8
-if we go by absolute WCS longevity, the game would end on day 12
-if we go by absolute WCS for Town, Town is in LyLo by Day 7.
(WCS = worst case scenario)

Okay, guess I'll have my game up by some time tomorrow, then.
15 (11v4) is what I was going to do if I did get enough players for that, but I agree that 11 (8v3) sounds like a good number. If I get 11 people I'll probably just run it from there, and anyone past 11 can just go in the replacement list or something.

I'm just worried about a game going on too long that people are spitting hairs at each other, personally (as much as long games are some of my favorites)

This is something I was going to do with the last game but changed my mind at the last second. Think I'll try it with this one and see how it goes.
Could be more interesting, especially once a Mafioso actually joins in and can hint it.

Lifty hosted in this world before, but, he was done. Forever. He wanted nothing left to do with Mafia. It was time for a new controller of Mindscrew - All conflict this time needs a reason, but this time, well, our new booking host would love to tell you, but, it seems someone has stolen the rules!

You all enter in inside. You see many new gadgets that you're unfamiliar with. The doors shut. Everyone in the room is curious to how this will pan out and nervous. Nobody knows what's going on.
"I see some of you are familiar with my tavern already. Let's see how this pans out, shall we? I have plans of my own while I'm here... too"
