I think I’ve replayed DS1 more than any other game. I love the world and how diverse it is from area to area; you can be in a skeleton graveyard filled with undead or a swamp filled with weird creatures, and then within 2-3 minutes of running you could be at a castle. It all just blends into itself as this bizarre incomprehensible land. The music is great too; Ornstein music is sick.

Oh yeah, I hate to be a downer, but I have to postpone my game. Work schedule is nuts and I don’t want to mess around until I’m super confident in the entire work process. It will come someday tho.

I love the Dark Souls series....

I’ve never beaten any of them... nit even close...
To be fair, I didn't have enough time to explore worlds like Dark Souls 1 blind the first go-around (let's be real here, there is like no clear sense of direction in that game lmao), so I just looked up general guides for direction so I didn't end up wasting time. Kind of a cop out, I know, but ain't nobody got time to play any Dark Souls game blind LMAO. I mean, you can play it blind if you want, but the propensity for dying and losing souls is to the point where it really isn't worth it IMO.

That said, I bet given some time and some research, you could beat DS1 too. Also, sorcerers are pretty easy to play with the exception of certain bosses that have high MR, but given the nature of the game, you can level up strength/dex just enough to where you can utilize more powerful melee weapons for the high-MR bosses; you can hit almost as hard as most melee players while having the luxury of being able to cast from long range if you level stats as a Sorcerer correctly.

The hardest fight is probably Ornstein/Smough because Ornstein is a glitchy clown and ruins the game for like 60%+ of the player base LOL, but if you can get past them, you can get past like any boss in any DS game. Just takes time and patience if you have it.

Farthest I got in DS1 was the duel boss in a throne room, after that garbage section where you have to walk along a narrow path while two archers shoot at you and knock you off

I heard that the list isn't always linear for who goes next so I figure I'd ask this now

praline praline what are the best times of the year to host?
Well I don’t really know lol

We haven’t had this group going for a year yet and my owning of this topic has been even less. Sorry...

you good <3 I think I have a good estimate of when, but, we'll see how the schedule is looking like. I need to get the setup done first. I'm about a fourth of the way done.

To put this into perspective, I'm still at work (5:00pm) after getting here around 7:30am because of reconciliations, lol. Gonna be awhile before I'm feeling confident about running a game at the same time.

Witnessing the long-awaited sequel to Pizza Mafia would be amazing. Fingers crossed for anchovies, the pinnacle of pizza topping excellence, taking it down..

If Chu doesn't want to go next, it's either Coricus Coricus who doesn't seem to be around here anymore or KingofPhantoms KingofPhantoms who has mentioned not being able to host right now so I dunno
They said they’re unavailable so it’s Bar and if he’s not then it’s Nabe. If none of them are ready then it’s you... are you ready in the chance none of them are?
