so wiisp can't get spooked and claim prematurely? and claiming an open role polarizes the debate and removes variance in the debate by removing the "this claim might not exist" option? it's not necessarily a sacrifice if the real cop doesn't CC and decides to play the value long game, knowing wiisp is scum subjectively, and then hope to get the other mate and claim revealing them both at once

there are way more possibilities than you're considering here, lots of different outcomes and EV's from those outcomes, and it's all ****ing WIFOM anyway

Given that there are lots of inactives with a reasonable amount of suspicion on them, and 3 PRs besides Cop+Seer, I don't think it'd be too risky for a wolf to claim when there were 0 claims before that. Wiisp was one of the leading wagons, and if you account to the fact that it seems to be almost a death sentence on their homesite, it's not too out of the reach to consider them to be scum

I honestly planned to ISO Wiisp tomorrow, but I wish I had done that earlier. I still had them as nullish-scum before this.

the open buddying between him and rhand is nauseating at this point, never want to think mates can be this obvious but I learned a pretty harsh lesson in Things I Like Mafia, they seem to have significant experience with one another though so it could just be one scum one town and one of them is getting pocketed by the other. I could see myself accidently letting this happen to me if I was playing with like scum!Gorf, scum!Swiss or scum!Chaco. gotta be a bingo between these two though

thing I hate about the wiisp slot other than his trolly arrogance is that he literally misrepresents my posts, calls me a wolf due to his own misread or misrepresentation of the post, and then when I correct him and ask for substantiation he literally doesn't even bother to try? just comes off like a wolf knowing they overstepped the attack and want to mitigate their paper trail. the kneejerk cop claim comes off heavy like a powergrab to divert attention away from him with enought time cushion before deadline to ensure the vote momentum comes squarely off him without a risk of last minute clown car wagon swings screwing him before he can really use his claim to grab hold of the wheel. for scum!wiisp it's a total ****ing power grab gambit to do this, all in on surviving an extra day and trying to bait the real cop claim since we know its a confirmed role. hell, scum!wiisp already got a payoff baiting the scarlet claim (lmao scarlet town btw), so if real cop counter claims he literally got extra credit for his mate already

normally I wouldn't be considering a fake claim this early this seriously but given how rhand and wiisp came into this game acting like they ran the show and sussed any slot that thought eh maybe nah bro makes me suss af that it's wiisp gambit because he legit just thinks he's that much better than us at the game and thinks he can get away with it
