I've never had this actually work before, but I am the Town Watcher.

I watched J last night and he was visited by both GLG, and the new guy Tandora.

One of the two is mafia, I'm sure of it.

This is the first time I've done this, so I'm not sure if what I'm doing is right or not, but I'm going to take my chances.

I'm going to guess GLG is a power role and Tandora is a member of the mafia, but these are just guesses.

I wanted to post to let you all know I've done a readthrough of the thread. Cannot say I am 100% caught up, but I am familiar with the general topics discussed.

I find it interesting no one is being made fun of today.

A little disappointed that J died. He had really lead town yesterday and I was looking forward to playing with him. I think we could have been good friends if we could have met.

Really curious as to why Scamps died. I am assuming proof of Vig?

I know most of you, but there are some I haven't played with. Just to give a warning, I tend to be busy during the day at work, so I only am really available for posting at night. Hopefully this won't be an issue, but I would rather have it out there now than later.

Hm, so either Seph just outed a pr or the mafia killer and janitor are two separate entities. Both are possible, so we can't take anything for granted, but at least we've got a good solid lead.

Seph, in the future you may have wanted to push one of them instead of just claiming ASAP. If one of those two IS a power role you've now outed two of them. In a game this large not AS big, but it's still better if you can get someone pressured without claiming, just some friendly future advice

The death of the roleblocker could mean a couple things. Either anti-town/mafia roles aren't from theme games and town's are, or the roles for both sides can come from theme or non theme games. Either way, this expands the possibilities quite a bit.

Tandora, did you submit your action last night? If so why did you pick J? If you didn't submit, why do you suspect Xatres did?

Not asking for a roleclaim here, but non revealing rationale (if possible) will suffice.

It's good that you watched J, but that was a bad time to claim. You should have just pushed the GLG lynch today (as there's a 99% chance that's who'd die), and if GLG flipped town, THEN claimed and pushed Tandora. Not much we can do about it now though.

I did submit an action last night and it did target J. This is a large part of why I believe Seph's claim since he accurately knew I had visited J.

I figured J would live through N1. He was extremely pro-town, but there was a good chance he would still live because a) hopefully the doc would protect him and b) scum love killing Praxis N1 due to his rep and Praxis also being extremely protown.

I felt if I made a social call to J, it would help eliminate my scuminess. I realized I was way behind the bell curve on proving myself because my predecessor had been 100% inactive all of D1. It was bound to happen that once I started posting some attention would be on me. If J and I were friends, then I would have a reputable person on my side.

As I mentioned before, J was totally all over GLG's case yesterDay. He had proven himself brownie townie on a good case and thus had (for Mafia's reasons) to die. Seph helped narrow it down between me and GLG. It's only logical for us to lynch GLG because of J's suspicions on him. When GLG flips scum, I'll be cleared. Which in short would accomplish what I was trying to do anyway, so visiting J was still the right choice even if Seph outed me. ^_^

Yes. Yes, I do. And we have proof. Scum like to NK the most obvious town and people who are loudly against them. When the loudest voice is silenced, it is easy to forget who they were preaching against. You had everything to gain by killing him.

Overall, like your train of thought. What possible scenario would scum need two people to target the same person? I can actually think of one since it recently happened to me, but I would like to see your rationale.

Also, OS, I want to see some input from you since we now have some flips.

Well if you hadn't validated Seph's claim, we could've assumed that Seph was lying (even though I believe him).

Putting yourself out there like that in admitting visiting J even though he was killed would indicate a massive pro town stance, but since this game is all about deception, that could be a perfect move for scum to pull off.

I'm just saying it's a possibility that can't afford to be ruled out, I'm not going to put you in the line of fire for toDay as far as I can see, but if GLG flips town, I imagine you'd be in a lot of trouble.

Marshy: yeah but to his credit the person who killed Tom N1 died with him. So aside from the bus driver I can't really think of a reason mafia would have sent two people to their kill, and since Nick would've known he targeted Tom and watched Tom, it would have been reasonable to rule out a bus driver. Chaco's hider claim was shaky, yeah, but short of "bus driver who can't fool the watcher even though the watcher doesn't know it" I'd have trouble coming up with another reasonable explanation for that.

Mentos's janitor explanation is more likely, but something to keep in mind.
