Needs a 23% Aura Sphere to beat the early Monkey Kick (14%) aka fresh, same stock Aura Sphere at 128%.

I think it's stupid that Monkey Kick has such high priority in the first place, regardless of what shenanigans are going on. A command grab that can be changed into a high-priority attack on a dime...what kind of balance...

Not just that. It's a relatively fast command grab that automatically demands a 50-50 as you can grab or attack with it. It also does decent damage AND be used as a recovery option.

Oh, yeah, and it works in the air and can spike. Truly a balanced move -_-

According to @ Kami~ Kami~ (according to @ChileZeRo), Diddy's Flip Kick attack will always beat Aura Sphere no matter what.

OR WILL IT.
You have to challenge AS with Diddy's Side-B sweetspot (early) hitbox. You we're doing it too soon.

EDIT: Actually, nvm. I'm not getting it anymore. Maybe I did something wrong last time

OK, tested seriously this time, and apparently Diddy's Side-B kick applies as every other normal hitbox.

Diddy failed to trade after AS dealt 23% dmg (130% both), but was able to challenge it on 22% dmg (124% both). Maybe last time I got confused and I was during respawn invincibility. My bad

It was about Aura damage multiplier.
If it is about the Aura multiplier for stocks I am about 70% sure it is handled exactly or very similarly in comparison to Brawl. I am not home, so I cannot test anything until after work. What would you like to know? You've provided a lot of delicious data that I have been finding some new combos with, so we'll be happy to help ya.

How powerful is a full aura Lucario? Iv'e been thinking about picking him up.
Think of ganondorf with twice the knockback, better frame data, and an extremely powerful projectile.

Alternatively, when you're at 190%+, imagine your opponent starts off each fresh stock with around 80%

it was about making a table for aura damage multipliers for every say, 5% lucario has

Mmm... Fox lost JabJabJabJabJab...Insert-Smash on us, and we can pretty safely stay in shield on him. If there was .5 increments I'd say Sheik is -1.5; tbh it's probably closer to -2 when facing the top Sheik players.

If you really feel Fox is -2 after patch, then I guess we could settle for that; I just don't think he's got the free win on us after that loss.

It's basically these 3 characters that **** on us because they don't actually have to play in a disadvantaged state, or have a ******** tool against us, like reflector.

On that note I might put Villager at -1, but I haven't seen any good Villagers. Pocket is pretty stupid and so are his disjointed/fast aerials.


Edit: On a side note, after seeing Kami's matches against that Mario, it's fairly obvious just how detrimental the downwards momentum cancelling property of DAir being lost from Brawl affected the move; the second hit whiffs so much and the first hit has almost no hitstun.
