The discovery of the Beechcraft created quite a stir. Maybe they could repair it and fly off the Island. Maybe they could boost the radio enough to contact the outside world.

Some of the Survivors had made themselves into leaders of the group. They were standing around discussing what to do next. Hurley was standing with them listening when another man asked him, "Hey man, do you mind if I look at the passenger manifest?"

"No problem, dude," Hurley smiled.

The man glanced at the manifesto. "That's weird," he muttered. People turned to look at him. "What's wrong?" they asked. "There's a guy I've been talking to, a Benjamin Linus, but he's not on the list."

"What made you look for him?"

"Just a gut feeling," the guy shrugged.

Everyone turned towards Benjamin.

(Just look at that smarmy face.)

"He's one of the Others!" someone yelled. The group turned into a mob and swarmed Benjamin.

(I've wanted to beat your face for some time now!)

They him prisoner, but he refused to give them identity of the rest of the Others. "But I have other information!" he pleaded. "Bah, we've heard that one before," they scoffed.

(Better get something for that before it gets infected.)

Finally, they realized that Benjamin would never talk. There was only one choice left to them. Benjamin was dragged out back and made to kneel on his knees.

"You can't kill me," he taunted. "The Island will protect me."

The crowded parted as Evil Eye stepped forward. He smiled cruelly as he pulled out his gun and pointed it at Benjamin's forehead. "Guess what? I found myself a bullet."

Gorf, Benjamin Linus, Mafia Stalker has been lynched!

Night 3 has begun! It will last until 1/6/12 11:59 PM EST.

I have had a concern expressed to me about the flavor of D3. The last bit is flavor based on in thread actions and should not imply faction in any way.

The two camps of the Island slept well that night. Both the beach and cave inhabitants felt that they were one step closer to at least freeing themselves of the Others' influence. Surely rescue would be one step closer?

The gray of morning was lightening the sky when crashing in the jungle awoke the sleeping Survivors. Had there been another tragedy in the night?

Suddenly from the brush burst the huge Mexican, his hair hanging around his face wildly. Sweat covered his shirt from where he had been running haphazardly in the dark.

"Dudes, dudes! Oh my god, the numbers! They followed me here. They're cursed and I thought being here would at least keep the numbers away, but it didn't because they're here!"

The Survivors stared at Hurley with confused looks. Whatever was he babbling about? Still, this was a much better scene to wake up to instead of finding someone missing or dead or whatever had happened previously.

After giving Hurley some water and making him sit down, they were finally able to calm him enough to find out what had startled the big guy.

"I couldn't sleep last night, so I took a walk," he explained. "I stumbled in the dark and found a hatch. But the rim has these numbers. CURSED NUMBERS!" Before he could work himself back into a frenzy, someone shook him on the shoulder. "Ahem, anyway, I got scared and came back here."

"Maybe there's something helpful down there," someone else speculated. "We should try to get in."

"No, it's a bad idea dudes," Hurley warned, but no one listened as they gathered supplies to investigate this new discovery.

I'm down for a vote: FrozenFlame lynch simply because he's been here far too long and he needs to go.

Yo Auspher, did you get any results last night?

I investigated Kataefi and got no results, so it's safe to assume I was role-blocked again.

Figured as much. I like that result a lot more, it's easier to deal with and less WIFOM is involved, much better than if we had a tailor on our hands.

And then I reached the point where I started posting. This game is ***.

EE, you're wrong about Gheb being scummy.

Mentos, you are sitting there. Just sitting there. So is half the cast.

I'd lynch Lurkus for doing nothing, but would not lynch FF for it. Would you join that wagon, Kat/KevMo/RR?

Auspher has done NOTHING to make me think he's noobtown over noobscum. Reading him is a crapshoot and will probably continue to be a crapshoot for the rest of the game.

Rajam is going to be behind forever and is high on my list of expendables.

In fact, vig list:

1.) FF
2.) Auspher
3.) Rajam
4.) Joey

Vote Gorf
hey ryker, explain this vote for me. why'd you place it then, and what were your reasons for it.

EBWOP: if that wasn't a clear sign i'm rereading the thread right now for things, heads up y'all.

for the life of me i can't figure out why rajam was nkilled. he's made a couple of shots at gorf (and glyfe, interestingly enough) but other than that his two strongest scumtells, from what i'm reading, are auspher and acrostic, the town cop and the town priest respectively.

@Glyfe: What do you make of this:

These two posts mainly sum it up well.
I don't know anything about Lost but Acro's roleclaim seems believable and supposedly it works out with his nameclaim as well [and I know there's a role named "Priest" that lacks the ability to cast the hammer vote]. I don't think we should lynch him with a credible and confirmable fullclaim and if he was sick that'd explain why he couldn't be active. I'll make up my mind on him later.

Unvote Vote Kataefi

How 'bout that?

:059:
Unvote Vote Ausupher

Unvote Vote Ruy

Unvote Vote... maybeCircus

How's about that?

I don't see a Kat case, and, admittingly, he's one of those people that I forget are even in the game.
That's good enough a reason to vote for him in my book.

:059:
._.

Unvote Vote Kataefi

I'll take you on it mang.

Chaco's probably not scum. I don't read anything into Gorf's WIFOM trap, I don't see Chaco randomly calling out Gorf for his case on Auspher like this and continually pushing that alley until higher priorities came into play and he was forced into acting on players that weren't his primary suspect at first (Acro). He flipped to Jerkus--but Jerkus was actually the 1 to Gorf's 2, and a lot of things in hindsight that were applicable to Jerkus were actually applicable to Gorf. Gorf substantiated his vote but the circumstances being wrong

Also, I doubt Auspher was the NKill last night if he was roleblocked--with Chaco(?) and Auspher running around, scum would probably try to block one and shoot the other.

While possible, there may also be a jailer. I just don't understand protecting Auspher N2 over priority targets like Ryker, I guess Gorf, EE, and maybe Chaco.

Granted Night Actions this game just tend not to make sense in general so ****all if I know anything.

Hey EE, early in D1 you mentioned that there were three times the number of scummy interactions than the game could even possibly allow. Could you elaborate more on that, seeing how accurate your gutreads have been this game?

I like Dooms/Chaco/[EE]. was sceptical over chaco prevoiusly but now I like him. I'm scared to like EE, but I think I do. always liked dooms. resonating brownie townie.
flipped to

Frozen/[Chaco/J]

^currently my head's here. there is little to work with.
:glare:

that was, from anyone's perspective outside the game, fast, and with no real substantiated reason for a flip.

Where?

Interesting... Elaborate please...

The way the whole Glyph/Mentos part of your post went, you seemed more like scum Glyph > scumentos, but then you took an arrow to the knee and called them both scum... :glare:... So tell me, are their alignments dependent upon flips? Are they of DIFFERENT scum alignments? Elaborate please...

I seriously don't get why we're moving votes, isn't the deadline like soon? And regardless of who's in it, that slot is scummy. If you want my reasoning, read back to when I was talking to Chaco about it. Will I offer anything else? Nope, it's 4 AM and I gotta get sleep for a trip. It's peculiar seeing Ryker try not once, but twice, to move from Circus... Not gonna call scum for it yet, but peculiar...

Either way guys, who the eff would there be to move to at this point? Glyph? Well he caught up didn't he, and aren't we unvoting the Circus slot for the same reason? Food for thought: WE NEED TO FIND A LYNCH CANDIDATE, AND MOVING FROM CIRCUS HAS LITTLE RHYME OR REASON.

And with that, I say too-da-loo.

Ding! Plot twist!

Lol oh man this wagon. I got **** to do so I can't respond much right now. Oh wait, I couldn't respond much because there's NO ACTUAL CASE ON ME. "Oh he's being not really pushing things forward personally and his posts are airy," gee, ya think? It's the way I play every game. Anyway, I might try to defend myself against the I don't like your playstyle lynch that's happening, but as I said, Christmas **** to do right now.
I think the Mentos push is dumb personally for what it's worth.

EE

Top 3 lynch candidates that aren't Mentos, give me somethin to work with.

I am indeed Tracker. How he knew that, I have not the slightest idea. Maybe because I tracked Kevin N1, but I am not sure.

N2 I tracked J.
And N3 I tracked Kata.

Laundry doin' work. I think he is town. I think Laundry is town because he's realized it's now D4, and therefore, it's time to figure out Ryker and there are enough connections to map out a probable alignment for him. And he's investigating Ryker. Not just latching onto some limpid excuse to call him one alignment or the other, which is what he'd be probably doing as scum. Nothing hard there, I just like the cut of his jib right now.

Not going to interfere with Laundry's investigation, but a few of them classic EE rereads have left me feeling aight with Ryker. I like Laundry's investigative spirit but I think we can probably look elsewhere once he's satisfied with the Ryker tree.

anyways, @Laundry: I want another reread yet, but I was just getting garbage reads from half the cast. Gheb was smelly, but I wasn't sure how to approach his smelliness. I'm really glad mafia decided to giftwrap him for us. iirc Gorf had gone after Auspher by now and while the tone of his posts and approach was gigatown I just didn't like the fact that he was doing it, and considered helping a wagon along. Now I know why. Not gonna doublecross THE GUT again this game that's for sure. Not without some good reason to do so.

Anyways, I think we are lynching... wait, hold on a sec, vote: frozenflame751. Aight, we good. So yeah, we're lynching frozenflame. The reasons to do so have two prongs: My big post re: frozen, the words and analyses of which I stand behind 100%. The second reason is that I'm pretty ****ing sure I know what happened. Look at D3. Ausu outs himself to expose Gorf. Frozen has been under mad pressure. He spends the entire Day with his thumb up his arse, probably pooping himself and flinging it at the walls, and then AFTER the bingo has been delivered to town -- and AFTER we've lynched said bingo -- he ducks in during the completely harmless and non-alignment-bearing twilight to go all hurdur I got yer back buddy. That's as shallow a gambit setup as I have ever SEEN. I'm pretty damn disappointed in frozen for doing something so damned transparent. Surely you could've just not said anything and come in toDay to take credit for protecting him. Why rock the oversell, bro?

Reminds me of Megamafia when I, as a mafia stalker with a mild, tamed down watcherish secondary ability, informed Macman (the claimed and outed doc) that I'd have his back. Why? Because I was going to claim Town Watcher, naturally, and it just seemed like some **** I might do as town. Frozen's in the same zone here. Is there a protown reason to do what he did? Naw. It's just to establish a precedent to his future lie he can connect to.

So, frozen's gonna come in here. He's gonna take credit for protecting Auspher. And protective role is not going to claim. They're not going to do that because we don't need them to. And then frozenflame will be lynched, and we'll have another dead bad guy, almost assuredly.

@Chaco: What's with the lack of reports for N1 homie? And the lack of track visit reports, for that matter. And you might as well character claim and just knock that **** out to the fullest extent of the law. Ain't no mystery to be had now.

Hmm. Think I want to look at Ryker's cult/other **** babblin' on D3 again. Gotta decide if he really felt lost, which is rare with him, or if he really was just trying to poison the watering hole.

Kinda here, I was voting Gorf because I thought he was scummy. I didn't think he was the most scummy. I did think I could get something out of him because he was actually playing the game.

Why I think he was scummy I can't tell you and I'd have to go back and look at the posts. I've got five games running together at the moment. I am PERFECTLY fine with tracker going now.

There has been no mafia motivated kill yet which is absolute balls. Something is up with this set-up or I will eat my ****ing foot. Laundry knows how serious a commitment that is.

EE/Laundry, what say you to a mass claim? I am in favor.
