Capcom declared this as a reboot. They said they want to establish this character as a teenaged Dante; however DMC5 will have no connection with the main storyline.

Still confused?

This Dante's DTs comes with Angelmode&Devilmode.
Dante being halfAngel and HalfDemon is not possible. But it's an all new dmc, with a completely different Dante.

Actually, LT doesn't abuse his powers unlike some of the moderators on this forum. Hell, when I think about it, I can only tick off two moderators out of the MANY that we have running around here that remotely do anything close to that. Even then, it's situational.
